thats one oppinion. Id say check out Coreyvdhs new cover of it before you make that assumption though, its amazing. original may be impossible to beat though you are right
really astonishing. love it! ... but in the mix i think the vocals are a bit too much in the front n could be imbedded (is that the word?) more, also i wished 4 more alterations in the main parts (eleanor, mckenzie) since you prove so much taste n creativity. all in all the sound in great, love the git sound and the 'poeple' parts. genial. i think with your vocals u could be bolder with the 'scat'part, but on the other hand nicely done, not overdoin n all that.
guys, what happen with the band? I will put this version with my band and hope to have some video to upload, but with to hear more from you, you guys rock!!!
I'm not sure the tone of the song matches the lyrics but the music is very good, great stuff, you guys work well together and your singer is awsome :)
wow the bass player was awesome, btw i dont understand why my bass which is musicman sterling dont have that type of sound when i pop it, ur bass sound has more treble like on 00:08
it sound good, i just wanna kno how to make that kind of sound out of my sterling..
hey dude, i'm glad you liked it. There's no much secret about my bass' sound, just plug it and you have that timbre inherited to the musicmans. My bass is a stingray, your's is a sterling, maybe there's some difference between the instruments, but not much. Have you tried boosting the high frequencies on your equalizer a little bit?
well I liked it a lot especially the solo on space cowboy covers. I used to boost the high frequencies but it sounded like it has too much treble especially when I popped it , and I thought my bass does not have that typical of sound, so am planning to sell it, so do you think its better to sell it or it because I just cant figure out how to set that type of sound to my bass?
i have a sterling too dude, and its much more difficult to get that kind of a tone out of it, but my amp has a mid scoop switch which helps it sound a little more like that.
i also use slinkys and lots of treble.
idk why but sterlings are more rounded in tone than stingrays. just try a bunch of different strings and amp combos before selling it.
wow absolutely amazing. love the song and always hoped someone would sing it slower and sadder but you are way better than the original. great voice too.
Guys i think you're really good, seriously
But this is a rape of the song's original spirit

All the Beatles songs are masterpieces, but that doesn't mean that they can't be covered.
