You have to be a total mug to buy Waves, it's utter way-overpriced rip-off crap and it's full of duplicate components that are virtually the same. I found that a lot of free stuff is just as good. All Waves does is cram a load of crap in your VST folder that you don't want, but you can't remove individual components and you end up realising you've wasted a lot of money. I completely deleted it all. Thankfully I wasn't suckered into paying for it, so Israel gets none of my money.
I´ve got the waves mercury bundle and you get it these days for less than 7.000 dollars, so its a lot cheaper these days. As a audio engineer I use also a lot other plugins and bundles, but waves mercury and t-racks 3 deluxe are for me already very advanced tools, VERY advanced! Of course you should also look for a good soundcard with good sounding converters. More expensive soundcards mostly will sound a lot louder and give better sonical results than soundcards for 150 dollars.

Yeah you can use Mercury Waves with FL I use it for FL 7 & FL 9 at the same time no lie ... lol
