No it's not. Classical music is more 'sophisticated' than other genre arguably. People call it boring because they haven't even sampled Classical Music properly. By the way, there are more snobs in the New age rap and hip hop industry than there has ever been in the Classical. Beethoven notoriously wore the same clothes everyday.
