Weird thing: I was using a bow, like this video did, and all of a sudden when I crouched the eye (indicator of detection) turned to a slit. I was confused, but when I started getting sneak attacks with double damage I was shocked. I quickly beat him. I was hiding in the same spot, he was slightly right of the stairs to the pedestal, and I was hiding against the right wall. If anyone can recreate this, please tell me why it works, or just take it for granted and beat the **** out of him!

@xdnbkingx i just beat him by turning the difficulty down to novice then hidding and using a bow :'D

i did this quest at lvl 16 and killled him faster but still good vid I'm complete mage

@xomey I'm level 17 and I can't beat him should I try to beat him with a 1 hand and shield or arrows? cause i'm horrible at magic (orc warrior)

@PwnerforhighER arrows theres a spot where he can't see you but you can shot him. in the end i just walked out and attacked him head on but every time i did a large amount of damage i saved but i didn't die
