well there is certainly nothing "wrong" about not using your pinky. But, there are alot of pluses at the same time. Its kind of restricting if you ask me. But to each his own.

yeah, i agree it can be restricting, and i personally use mine, but if you practice enough like keene it doesn't even matter that much. A lot of guitarists do weird, counterintuitive things technique wise but practice so much is doesn't matter

I don't know if you've had a listen at their older material, the EP "Evidence of Inequity", but it has a really good song "Nevermore" on it, and they re-did it for the new album, it's sounds way better. Me and my friends were on our way to this show and we popped a tire an hour from the venue. It sucked. We were on the side of the highway for 4 hours! BUUUUTTTT we still drove. All though we missed Abigail Williams we made it JUST in time to see The Faceless, and it was fucking worth the 30 minutes we were there! This was the second time I've seen them. Their amazing and can't wait to see them more :D
