It's all bull, it's part of Wavertree Common. If it's in your parish put in a retrospective application of objection based on non no-notification to yourself on the use of the common. If you push it hard enough, you can get it pulled down, or open to all Liverpool residents as was thought would happen.
The Mystery was gifted to the city as an open space in perpetuity. I used to walk across it twice a day going to the Bluecoat School. That's where I learned words like "perpetuity" innit! How do the city bosses get away with it? There must be other places to build a swimming pond.

spent so much of my youth there..... played football, ran around the track, got mugged, avoided purple ackie etc ;) lively place in the 80s
