I'm another Ute fan that chartered a bus 38 hours to N'arlins. We were all surprised at the classy 'Bama fans. Ultimately confident that the Tide would Roll. After the game, several different Alabama fans walking out of the game offered comments like, "great game", "You really outplayed us", "You gave us a whuppin tonight", etc. The were very friendly on Bourbon St. This is a big reason many Utes are hoping for a rematch some day. I say, "Roll Tide!"

Wildman, I'm a huge Bama fan, and I will say that we got beat. I live right in the heart of Alabama around tons of Bama fans and I haven't heard one person make an excuse. Don't konw where you live or who you are listening to. You probably haven't even talked to an Alabama fan.

As far as Coffee goes, he's had some injuries this year. I don't blame him one bit for going pro. If he stayed he'd probably get hurt worse and ruin any chance he had of going pro.

Drumorbass..I am a huge Ute fan and was at the Sugarbowl game in New Orleans. I have to say that the Bama fans were some of the classiest fans I have ever come across...before & after the game. And you are right, not one made an excuse for the loss. After the game, we went to Bourbon street to talk some "smack" and found that Bama fans were nothing but complimentary towards the Utes. We partied with Bama fans before and after the game.....shared their roasted pecans with us too! Great fans!

I don't know what Bama fans you have been talking to but I assure you they are they exception. The Utes have a good team (unbeaten). Not only did we get beat we get out Coached. And we were not ready to play. I was in New Orleans and we had too many players partying on Bourbon St. Which was a shock to me. We over achieved this year and this Bama fan is very proud of our season. After all we were 6 minutes from playing for the National Title.

I completely agree, mike. Why can't people thank the guy for righting the program and setting them up for future success? Les has done a good job. Just be glad that you have him and quit concerning yourselves (hating on) Coach Saban. He has always spoken fondly of the LSU people with the exception of a poorly thought-out joke that was relayed to him by a BOT member at LSU.

Well, it's not that we don't have legitimate reasons for disliking him. My beef is with those fans who have an unrational hatred b/c he went to Bama. I dislike him for lying to our players and then bad mouthing our coaching staff while at Bama.

Did you forget how bad we stomped GaTech who was ranked #14 while we were unranked? 35-3? I mean, doesn't even matter your opinion about GaTech, the point is, GaTech was favored to win by like, 80% or so (rough guesstimate). I would most certainly rather win a smaller bowl game as the underdog, than lose a big one as the projected winner, thats a no brainer!
