  • haha thats when you know your home, the good ole 405 freeway right before touchdown

  • Well. Thats a long one. Tokyo right?

10hrs. I cant fly for so long.

  • Very good video !

  • love your videos ken

  • 5/5 great videoing!! were you in coach class?

  • This was taken from Business Class along with the inflight vid you questioned me.

  • seemed like a very smooth landing

  • that's why I'm glad I don't live in Los Angeles- it's a filthy mass of urban sprawl.

    Nice vid, though!

  • Yeah, my final stop is down in Newport, so a just got to arrive in LAX.

    Thanks for the compliment.

  • what exactly is the difference between the -200LR and the 200ER?

    Where do you usually fly?

  • Statistically, the LR can fly further than the ER. It'll officialy fly up to 9170nm(19683km).

I take the Narita-LA flight and drive down the 405 to NB. I once tried a Narita-San Francisco and connect to a domestic flight to John Wayne but it was nothing but exhausting.:D

  • and flying across several timezones and the largest ocean in the world to Los Angeles is not exhausting?:)

haha I usually travel to Helsinki, Finland from San Diego (of course there are several stops along the way). Last summer I flew through SF and it was a nightmare because incoming pilots had to use IFR for landing, which takes longer than a visual approach (?). We ended up seeing our plane leave as we were taxying to the gate!!

  • Physically it's the same though mentally, knowing the fact that you're connecting just beats you up.

It just gets a lot messy if you miss catching a flight. I've had one as well.

  • great video 5/5 nice cam job

  • Thanks man!

  • did you ever felt the turbulense when your landing in LA in the mountains so bumpy

  • You mean the mountains located north from the airport? Yeah, depending on the conditions, but there's always turbulence on every landing.

  • dude this here is asome man perfect

  • Glad to hear that!!!

  • you are very good cameraman! perfect film. 5/5 nice and smooth landing.

  • Thanks!!

    Hope you liked it.

  • I love approach!

  • The spooling sound of the engines gives it a little spice, doesn't it?

  • Ameriacn Airlines is my favorite.

  • The metallic is just a beauty.

  • What does that mean? Thanks

  • Metallic=American Airlines

    Just an implication.

  • amazing! great! exeptional! (...)

  • Thanks!!

    Glad you liked it.

  • That is cool!!

  • Hey ken92660 im going to MNL on 2010. I might uplode some vids on EVA air please conment.

  • Hope you get some good shots.

  • Yup I will and i will send them two years from now if i get a chanch.

  • The amazing stuff is that you're not shaking,do u have some advices to keep the camcorder without shaking? 5 stars

  • Well, two ways. One, use both of your hands and place your elbows on the armrest with your sholders squared. Or just stick your camera lens to the plastic window.

  • Do you use a camcorder or a digital camera?

  • I just use my DC.

  • Hi Ken - regarding the tow, it's standard procedure for large aircraft arriving at Tom Bradley to shut down on the taxiway and tow onto the gate. Whether this is for noise concerns or safety or otherwise I don't know.. it's a busy area, so most likely safety

  • Oh, is that so. I grabbed a Qantas pilot on my way out of the airport and asked them what it was all about. American also doesn't use the Tom Bradley, it arrives into terminal 4. But anyway, you sound right as well. Thanks for the informative comment.
