Robbie ain't bad but he's nowhere in sight compared to lewis. Not as a vocalist anyway. I don't think this is one of Lewis' better songs but i sincerely disagree with your opinion. Robbie isn't able to sing this song straight. Listen carefully. I do respect him for choosing a Lewis Taylor song and he has written some nice pop songs himself.

Robbie hasn't got the maturity that a guy like Lewis has when it comes to singing and composing and i'm sure Robbie himself would agree with me on that!

well its not that easy, cos the early records are always the best. look at other artists. he reached already his peak. maybe there will be a great comeback again. but economically he is not anymore that superact he was. i still love his music. and i guess he has got enough influence to the tracks. its not about songwriting. its about the songs and its entertaining - in this hes best.
