Good teaching. Now that's 1 more good thing I've learned from this amazing product called Nuendo. This just showed me how to keep the bass & the kick From sounding muddy together. Thank u Nuendo.
Eh? all audio compression is done on audio tracks, usually being the output of the MIDI instrument. Do you actually know what MIDI is? Great tutorial by the way, I never would have guessed to use a quadro setting on the group! Cheers!
Maybe by rewiring your audio board output in your audio board input?? or even buying a little passive mixer, just 2 channels are enough to do that. :D
Hello! Nice tutorial! But I have one question. If i create 2 midi tracks (one with Stylus and the second lets say Embracer) is it possible to have side chain compression between this two?
for some reason you tube has there own issue they seem to compress the video
I used a programe to capture the screen but I also had to compress it so it would fit I just made this out of love for nuendo and to show some folks that nuendo can do what protools can do Im open to suggestions
hey.. the video is gr8, some kind of tips in nuendo. but uh.! i tried and it didn't work reason being i don't have that plugin. i tried with other plugins but in vain. are you coming up with some more tips or vedios.. oh one thing, does this side chaining works only with that plugin(compotric)? you know kind of confuse... still then that was a great vedio.. i mean helpful..
can you name some of the manufacturers and name of those plugins or softwares which has key in function, so that i can go looking for it. cos i like that .. wanna try out.
Well of course the recording of this Video was not a recording session lol So therefore the plosives are just fine the panning was not relitive to sonic pan it was used for routing not in the sense of left and right ,,,But yes Nuendo is not for everyone just as Pro tools and or Sonar is not for me
I will me making one talking of Controlers and how nuendo works with Suface Controlers such as the MACKIE HUI ( not the mackie control or Logic Control ) I will also be showing how nuendo works with The System 5 MC as well as The ID controler So We can once and for all see how Nuendo works using a surface controler from small format to large format
What ever plugin you use if it has many inputs just use the surround panner to asign the sig to the out puts but I think using the panner only 2 sources can be chosen at one time but you can allways duplicate the routing in new tracks but using the balls of the sur panner choose diff inputs from the other settings and it should work ...let me know what u would like to try and I will try and show it if it works
great video, really clearly explained. thanks! What was the name of the plug in you used for the actual changing of the bass level (at 3.44), i did quite catch it. Many thanks! james
yes I will be doing some more I have been busting my hump with projects Im also making a full on DVD tutorial unlike what u see here It wil be in a real studo with a real band and a real session not some bedroom setup but with a full SYSTEM 5 mc setup
Nice

Man. The plosives and voice level were harsh on this video. The smacking was tough too.
Bass and Kick are omnidirectional mono sources below 250Hz. Why pan them left and right?
Nuendo is too complicated if that's how you do it.

Nice trick. I already thought about it but I never had a compatible vst plugin to test it.
By the way, this can work with a vocoder too if it have 4 inputs ... I got too try this ...
Thanks
