If you watch the video carefully, you will notice that he looks down at his bike before he hits the jump and that is why he was going slow and had no where near enough speed to complete the jump successfully. Also it's not that I don't know anything about free-ride, it's that I don't give a shit about it because it doesn't take alot of talent to do it.
