  • freedom of religion, stop judging people.

  • This ban in France is encouraging more Muslim women to wear the Burqa or niqab. What an idiot the French president is he wanted to fight Islam but he is rather helping it good job dude.

  • I've got a whole list of clothes that I'd wish they'd ban in the US....

  • I'm a Muslim revert and I love niqab and I hope to wear it InshaAllah.

  • @Sakeena4life insha allah me 2

  • that's WONDERFUL,,,I think that Burqa is very important for sister and all must wear it with must wear fearing Allah and hoping to reward His,,So i sad with loud voice that NIQAB and Burqa IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR MUSLIM SISTERS,,,must wear!!

  • i respect the right of these women to wear the burqa.....but its pretty crappy to tell a woman that her clothes were what caused her to get raped or whatever else

  • @emorygal

You're right that it's crappy to hear that statement, but If you do research on rape victims (their clothes, location, etc) then you will find that there is truth in that statement. While you're at it, do some (picture) research and see if you can find any resemblance in the clothes the street prostitutes wear and the "sexy" or revealing clothes a potential rape victim wears.

  • why the big fine? surely they should fine misuse only , ie- if when revealed, you are indeed a bloke or whatever.... if you are ok, no cost. this law is badly planned, im sorry for niquab wearers in france. :( *sigh*

  • This makes me so mad and sad. I glad that I'm American and I can wear my niqaab with no problem. I don't see how they (the French government) thinks this is going to "liberate" or even "free" muslim women. This is our choice to dress this way, this is our right. It is in the Qur'an for us to cover our faces. And for other muslims to attack us and say it's foolish is truly sad. This "imam" is he calling the wives of the Prophet (sallau alayhe was sallam) foolish as well? Our right not opression!

  • Raju786 bikini does not make a man commit rap or sexual harassment . That is like saying if someone buys a gun the gun makes a person commit murder. Men need to take responsibility for their own actions instead of always blaming the women because of something she wears.

  • @titansful

He was saying "leads" man to rape, not "makes" man commit rape. You can look at any crime prevention course and you will find them all saying that the criminal looks for an easy target. A woman less covered is an easier target for rape than a women fully covered in many layers. Also, you can look at any rape trial and you will see the women is always questioned as to what she was wearing? and the lawyer pins the rape on her "provocative" clothes...

  • @dekhosuno Pinning the rape on the woman because of what she was wearing is wrong. If a woman goes around in the nude it should not be her fault if she was rapped. Their are women that are fully clothed that are rapped. My mother was rapped by her father when she was 12 and she was fully covered. It is the men responsibility and only the men if he raps a female. I am so tired of people saying well what was she wearing or how was she acting. Should not matter.

  • @titansful

You are right that it is wrong to pin the rape on a woman for what she's wearing, but we do not live in a perfect world. In a perfect world the women would not be raped, but in our imperfect world the woman often shares a portion of the blame for the rape depending on her actions and clothes. We may say the clothes should not matter bu the reality is that it does matter. Mostly, Rape is a sexual crime, not a power crime as we are told to believe.

  • @titansful murder isnt like rape okay.any man see a naked lady they will be burning inside. its not like murder you wont be burning inside to murder someone just plain common sense

  • @titansful That's stupid and weak! Women throw their boobs out there like lights on a christmas tree! then when a guy who is drunk or stupid comes and gives her the attention that her clothing seeks the woman acts as if she had no part in it! Women don't wear it for men anyway they where it for Allah! But hoochy mama's need to cover up and maybe negative attention wouldn't follow them!

  • it is hard for some men (rapers) to control their high sexual appeal toward (sexy) woman , it is hormonal , so covered and descent clothing is somehow necessary @titansful

  • There is more harm in wearing bikini in public, because it leads man to commit RAP, sexual harassment, verbal abuse, degradation of women, seen as a peace of meet etc.. i think it should be illegal to wear bikini not Hijab they them self are oppressed not the Muslim women!

  • Banning the Burqa to end oppression is ridiculous.

If a women is forced to wear it, would her father or husband suddenly change his mind because the government passes a law?

  • I LIVE IN aMERICA AND I LOVE YOU COVER NOT BECASUE OF MY HUSBAND OR ANYONE ELSE THE MORE I COVER THE BETTER I FEEL WHY SHOULD I SHOW MY BEAUTY TO OTHERS THAT DONT DESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEE IT! I LOVE NIJAB AND HAJIB ALLAH HU AKBAR.

  • well the "Imam" doesn't even observe what's Wajib,(the beard) so why should we listen to that guy? If he cant even practice himself

  • @AlexanderaCherie

First he needs to have a beard if wants to be an imam, according to scholars. Second he is not qualified to give his (false) statements. If they want to know whether the niqab is part of Islam, then they need to ask Islamic Scholars, not some antiniqab imam in a western country.

  • @AlexanderaCherie I agree! Why would he call it crap? Smh. >:(

  • im a muslim and i do not think niqab is pretty or necessary (btw its niqab not burqa) i do not like it for myself and i o not like it when i see it but who am i to go and tell the ppl who willingly choose to wear it that they dont have the right to do so?who am i to tell ppl i do not like what you wear take it off...france is such an islamophobic country i hope this kind of stupid rascism never comes to us and canada

  • @inu142007 I agree with you entirely, aside from the use of the word "racism", in that Islam wouldn't really be considered a race. Although many Muslim's are from India, Pakistan, etc.. and are similar in physical appearance (the typical basis of 'race'), this can't be considered so as to be muslim you do not need to be of that particular descent. For example, a Canada born white man could become muslim, and therefore would be of a different "race", but still be in the category of Muslim.

  • wow mansh allah

  • More power to these sisters! I wish them the best.

  • Gay Marriage FREEDOM!! Lesbian Marriage FREEDOM !! Porn Star FREEDOM !! Nudity FREEDOM !! Sex berfore Marriage FREEDOM !!

But when a chaste Muslim woman wears Hijab by her choice it's a crime ??!!!!!!

    Democracy. not in the west.

  • They isolate themselves

  • @CashDawlers

They don't isolate themselves. They do everything a modest woman does. They only don't show their face to the unrelated men. The Amish community are the ones who isolate themselves; not dealing with the rest of the world but only staying within their community and people. There are niqabi teachers, professors, PhD holders, medical doctors, engineers, programmers, talk show hosts, and even airplane pilot. Niqab is not the obstacle for them, bigoted voyeuristic men are.

  • @dekhosuno People are afraid of weirdly dressed people and weird things in general. Again, they isolate themselves by making themselves unapproachable.

  • @Yalf111

Are these cave people that they get scared of anything different?! People are smart enough to ask questions or do research. These women are not unapproachable, how many other women approach them? or do they just follow the anti-Muslim/anti-niqab propaganda as if they don't have a mind to think for themselves.

  • @dekhosuno That's the thing, people ARE educated. They know they're approaching someone who's GOD does not approve of how they're living their lives. If women wore it because they think it looks nice, and it were a cultural thing steeped in joy and the celebration of women, then great! But it's not, all I hear is "protect women from rape". Again the violence of MEN is the reason for oppression of women. Your society should protect women, not get infuriated over a piece of hair.

  • @Yalf111

You should read what these women say about dressing like that, they will say they feel liberated, protected, treasured, safe, happy, etc. I don't know who you are listening to that keeps talking about rape. In any case, the real reason for wearing it is obedience to God and that is reason enough.

  • mashAllah the munakabut look soooo beautiful mashallah

  • steups!!!!!!

    this video is very upsettin....

sisters b strong n fight them til the end!!!

  • hola hermanos,

all day long they talk about freedom. their famous "liberté, egalité and fraternité", but what they do is projecting all their problems at islam and forbidding freedom, while showing an outward love of "liberté".

    ique lástima!

    adios y au revoir!

  • This makes me so sad! The government is banning it just because they think it's an eyesore, and they don't like muslims. Well, I think full facial tatoos and 300lb women in bikinis are eyesores but I'm not rebelling against that. Stay strong sisters.

  • @OmuHamza aspiring niqabi here. Thanks hun. Please make duaa for our Muslim sisters.

  • that other guy is stupid because it does say in the quran to cover the women face, he should check the quran before he says stuff that is haram on national t.v.

  • they dont question the women who walk around undressed, but dare to question the sisters that cover up?wake up fools
