Hey guy's.... the way Apple made the ( 1st Gen aka 2G) iPhone you aren't able to replace a cracked screen, bad digitizer or any other combination separately.....you have to replace the entire unit ( LCD/Digitizer unit). If you buy anything separate of each other you will be wasting your money.

Ok I have a ipod touch 1G and my screen has been cracked. The screen still works (I still play games on it all the time). So I'm assuming the LCD works, but does this mean that the Digitizer also works?

Do I need glass with digitizer or just the 2G Glass?

minutes one morning. I charged it for about 2 minutes even though it didn'tt have low battery then I took it off. can u advise how to remove the shiney chrome apple logo on the rear iphone case it seems to be glued on really tight which makes it almost impossible to remove without damaging the cover
