  • Aries huh? I guess they don't call them Orions anymore. Do they still subhunt at all?

  • @lst1195 P3 is Orion, EP3 is Aries.

  • Awesome! Just last week at Dobbins, I saw a P-3 doing touch and goes. Didn't think to get the serial number though :( Maybe could you start providing the serial numbers in the description if you get them? That'd be awesome!

  • @1st1195 there are differnt version of the P3s. I was a crewmember on the ASW version used by Navy VP squadrons, P3-C and on the recon version used by VQ squadrons, EP-3B and EP-3E back in the day.

  • VQ-1 World Watchers, VQ-2 Sandemen both based out of NAS Whidbey. This is an EP-3E JCC aircraft probably sprial 2 or ISR surge mod done by PMA 290 out of NAS Pax river. These planes are constantly being upgraded for increased capability in theater. I had the wonderfull oppurtunity to work for them for 4 years great squadron and people and great dets!

  • @alphac3 I flew in both VQ-1 and VQ-2. VQ-1 when it was in Guam and VQ-2 when it was in Rota Spain. The first plane taking off here, by the logo on the vetical stab, looks like VQ-1, You can check out my videos at ChewWowWow.

  • Didn't those used to be called P3 Orions & wern't they sub-hunters? what do they use them for nowdays?

  • 1080p is the shit man.

  • sexy ass plane.

  • Wonder if the electronics is made in China.

  • @ad2181 what?

  • @viperq The Chi-comms kept the electronics from the EP-3 that landed in China, year 2000. You might find a copy of that electronics for sale.

  • @ad2181 yeah
