  • Great interpretation, as usual!! Regards!

  • Thank you.

  • Mein wunsch wurde erhört :D & ich danke dir dafür.

  • ... gerne geschehen. Wann immer solch gute Ideen auf mich "treffen", werde ich sie umsetzen.

    :-o

  • by the way...

I like LOUIS ARMSTRONG's version very much too - just because it is totally different in voice and aura, charism, spirit...

and LOUS ARMSTRONG isn't less genius for sure. This shall not be a compare - they are both UNIQUE !

  • (referring to "la vie en rose")

  • Wow. I think nothing would come closer to Piaf's voice than an accordoen... wonderful song, wonderful arrangement :)

  • oh - that's a great comment. Thank you very much for this encouraging answer. It is very hard to emulate a human voice with any instrument. I know this works great with clarinet and so called "mouth tube". I don't think it is really close to a human voice (like the "laughing" on a clarinet is) - but I tried to adapt speed, rhythm, volume, accentuation, intonation to her singing, yes, that's true.

  • Thank you very much.

I was not sure to play this on accordion at all - because people will always compare to Piaf's magic voice, something I can not compete with. At least I played as close to her singing as I could...

    hard to do anyways.

  • Thank you so much for your compliments, Fran. My next song concerning french chansons (not sure about beeing my next song here at all) will be - guess what else - "La vie en rose". :-)

  • This is a wonderful interpretation Wolfgang. Your accordion tones are so beautiful. Very skillfully played. Fran
