Oh thanks. They seem like a peaceful animal though the mother would attack if I got too close sometimes. She'd walk over and strike my hand with the point (elbow?) of her wing.

I've been feeding a flock of Redpoll finches this winter.Those little guys fly around at

-50,they're amazing.There legs are thinner than a toothpick so it probably takes more of them to make a meal than your Doves.Maybe we can swap recipies sometime.

Thanks. I had fun with it. It was a much earlier work for me. One of my first with older software. The two babies grew up and flew away one day. The mother would let me go out and touch her sometimes. It was an amazing experience. I hope they come back this year. Last year they did not.
