I truley can't believe that there are no synths or keys in the current lineup. I was THRILLED to hear that Porl was back in the band, but these songs absolutely need those lush string and piano backdrops that made the Cure's music soo beautiful. It's just not the same.

I see some possible mistaken conclusions here. The Cure wrote this song, 1987, the Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me LP. AFI did a remake of it. The Cure had the video out almost 20 years before them. It's a little sad to see a remake get credited as original. It's The Cure's song.
