Wes Johnson will be alot better this year too, you add him with rookie Derrick Williams, Mike Beasley, AR Anthony Randolph, Ricky Rubio and ofcourse Kevin Love.. wolves are looking pretty good for the future. 17-65 last year and im still proud to be a Wolves fan :D
He's definetly gotten better. I don't think he's a bust though. He only just completed his third season. Also, he almost average 20 pts a game. Next year, and for the next 4-5 years he'll be averaging 20+ points.
Beasley just needs to learn to play defense, and stop being lazy at times [or high during games]. His midrange jumper when on will go in 60-70% of the time. His three ball will get better but it's there. His rebounding at times is phenomenal. Being ambidextrous is such a plus for this guy. I think the ceiling is HIGH for Beaz...he just needs to really dedicate himself to the game, practicing, and stop smoking all that dayng weed lol.
Beas has more potential then melo.....he's bigger, stronger, and more athletic. nobody in the NBA can stop him other then himself. Beasley just has unlimited talent. He just needs to continue working for it. if he does he will bust out like KD did a while back.
@ryanneuman1 I've always said that they have similar games, both are able to do anything on the offensive side of the game, but not much effort on defense, big fan of B-easy hope he reaches his full potential and becomes the T-wolves go to guy in the clutch!!
@courtvisionmagdoctcom Hopefully he is a late bloomer. There are plenty of players that became very good/great later on. He still hasn't maximized his potential yet. He should go to the rim more, improve his handle, and pass more. He could easily average 25+ if he improved in those areas.
Its about time they put him at his natural position the 3 not the 4...he can even play at some guard...just cuz he's 6'9 doesn't mean he's regulated to the post!
Give him the ball. Please. He can do some things. Outside of K-Love, young Wes, Darko, and Pekovic, that team needs a makeover. It was fun to watch him and KD go at it last night. If he doesn't get 25 a game this year.....man.
beastley.. i think he will be better than kevin durant. super smooth jumpshot and improve defense and a lot more confidence. minesota to the playoffs? hehe i think thats too much to ask. lmaof =)
@jervy007 I wouldn't go as far as that, but he has the potential to be an all-star. He has a lot to improve on, but he could definitely be a better rebounder defender than KD is. Beasley just needs to stay motivated, and play smarter.
Beasley is a bust. His PER is a 6. The league average is 15. He has all the talent but will never reach it.

Beasley isn't a bust but he's not going to be a great or anything. He plays like a street baller.

beasley averaged 19 points game shot 33 percent from the three point line and 45 percent field goals that easily says he ant a bust

smoke less chronic beasley and focus more on bball

If Beasley improves defensively and shot selection wise, he's not far from being a star, its all about will and desire for him.

Carmelo and Beasley are pretty identical if you look at the numbers from last year and Carmelo's early seasons. dont give up on Beasley

lol yea that is a bit much but I like the direction beas is going. I see him as a future Lamar Odom. He will be a super talented number 2 or 3 option

@courtvisionmagdotcom I think beas is like a kevin durant lite right now, both skill-wise and more importantly, mentally
