Defenitaly a 20mm Vulcan form either an F18 or 16. The A10's Gau-8 shoots much larger rounds then that and the exploding tip ones used have a much deeper impact. Just look on the side bar and click the vid marked "a10 attack iraq" and you'll hear some real A10 rounds hit.
Look at the sidebar menu with the video titled "A10 run against taliban hideout" THATS a real A10 run, these are not 30mm shells, 20mm at best, just look how small the rounds are when they hit.

You misunderstand this guys. First sound you heard were bullets hitting, then the other one was bullets leaving the GAU-12 Cannon. They are supersonic therefore it appears like this.

The fart noise is the recoil of the gun!! The rounds go faster than the speed of sound thus you hear the rounds impact first. Unless of course the aircraft is close to you at the time the pilot pulls the trigger. Then you will hear the gun fire then the impact of the rounds. The A-10 can stay on station (in your location) for a lot longer than some of the other aircraft NATO uses. It can take hits too and keep on going. Sometimes all it takes is one in the area and peace settles over the land

Defenitaly a 20mm Vulcan form either an F18 or 16. The A10's Gau-8 shoots much larger rounds then that and the exploding tip ones used have a much deeper impact. Just look on the side bar and click the vid marked "a10 attack iraq" and you'll hear some real A10 rounds hit.

The fart noise is the recoil of the gun!! The rounds go faster than the speed of sound thus you hear the rounds impact first. Unless of course the aircraft is close to you at the time the pilot pulls the trigger. Then you will hear the gun fire then the impact of the rounds. The A-10 can stay on station (in your location) for a lot longer than some of the other aircraft NATO uses. It can take hits too and keep on going. Sometimes all it takes is one in the area and peace settles over the land
