I'm an Arsenal fan but I think that most all football fans (Including Arsenal's) are the world's biggest hypocrites and arseholes.. The probably gave him a standing ovation because Arsenal were already 5 goals a head.. Had he scored the opening goal or had his team been ahead they would've probably booed him and called him a cunt. Thierry Henry got a standing ovation when he entered the pitch with Barcelona , but after that every time he touched the ball he was booed, 'cause Barca were ahead

@razhidiz: Excuse me, I was at that barcelona game and I recall Henry was only booed once when he first touched the ball and it was not in maliciousness but more of a sarcastic boo. This here is a very sporting gesture from the fans which rarely happens nowadays and you're against it? It doesn't matter whether or not this would have been done if Arsenal were'n't leading, it's that it was done that makes it such a great scene.
