  • Wait, I don't get it, where are Mike, Tom, and Servo?

  • Tan mala como las producciones norteamericanas, pero con menos presupuesto.

  • It seems a film of 1950's. Totally retro.

  • @2:16 - "...meanwhile, in modern North Korea..."

  • whatcha wanna bet that nobodys gonna stand up against the pirates who released this movie on to the web?

  • how did you get your hands on this?

  • The Bugle!

  • Say what you like, these movies have fucking awesome soundtracks.

  • My comment has more likes than the video :P.

  • YEAAAH THANKS!!! I LOOKED FOR THIS ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO BUT COULDNT FIND IT!!!

  • Nice; any one know the sound track playing in the background at the beginning?

  • Piracicaba, 브라질에서 지금은 하나님의 축복 현대,

  • wow, solid movie

  • BBC same reason why I'm here too :)

  • Filmed with a potato, which is cutting edge in N.Korea. Where can we buy the BluRay?

  • Thx BBC for this gem!

  • BBC brought me too

  • Thumbs up if BBC brought you here

  • a better and more fun dictator than Obama

  • Scum North Korea kidnaps the South Korean film-maker to make this. You're watching slave labour film-making. Enjoy (not)

  • @chairman21 so have you obviously.

  • I know this movie from BBC after reading an article that Kim Jong-il is a fan of movies. Because I am curious, so I search "Pulgasari" in YouTube and here I come :) Btw, did you know that the producer of this movie is Kim Jong-il?

  • Pulgasari, a movie that really takes your imagination hostage.

  • Dear Reader

  • Strange to think that all these actors are essentially prisoners in their own country.

  • @unifiedreality From our perspective certainly, but the sad thing is many of them would happily stay in their own country if they were given the choice.

  • read about this in christian science monitor

  • BBC brought me here!

  • @1pnoe me too..

  • Wegen 1Live hier :)

  • BBC brought me here.

  • @MacraStraba same here!

  • трэш

  • what a nice piece of music it starts with

  • EPIC MOVIE BETTA THEN GODZILLA

  • wasn't the director from japan that got kidnapped to make this movie ? fvcking cool!

  • @decemberbenjamin no he was from south korea

  • @DivyaPreity4ever Actually, they were producers and there were two of them. They were definitely North Korean, however.

  • @mpalomo101 south korean Shin Sang-ok and his wife were kidnapped on the way to japan from south korea

  • @mpalomo101 Uh. Why're you talking about producers? They're talking about the director. The South Korean one. Who was kidnapped.

  • @DivyaPreity4ever I wonder why Kim just didn't hire this director. Why kidnap him.

  • @AndroidAmI Asking "why" with the Kim family can be a long and confusing road...

  • @AndroidAmI South Korea would not have allowed him to return if he had worked for North Korea of his own free will.

  • @Painocus They did :P.

  • @swordhunter12 Note the "of his own free will" part.

  • @decemberbenjamin I hope you mean the movie is cool and not kidnapping. Because kidnapping is not cool! Not at all!

  • This movie rocks!!!

  • The director here was a kidnapped South Korean director.

  • Mandarin, korean, english, all have more vowels than japanese... Japanese has 5 of them.

    Such a baka gaijin. -.-

  • @XnovemberrisingX WHAT???

  • "I can't live apart from you!"

    walks away

  • His Uncle wanted his nephew to marry his daughter? Ewww! X-/

  • @NodDisciple1 It's not unheard of in asia. My dad's married to his first cousin (not my mom). Lots of family marriages are arranged still.

  • @NodDisciple1 In addition to what GodsBurden said, I believe "Uncle" is used in Asia to refer to older men, to show respect. So, he's not necessarily Inde's biological uncle.

  • I LOVE YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS!!I OWE YOU SOME SEX!!

  • @XnovemberrisingX

its a lot different.. japanese pronunciation is a lot easier

  • @wefazuw

thats entirely up to everyone to decide for themselves. i think korean is easier.

  • How about a synopsis? What's it about?
