@macuser7080 my friend he is not grounded actually he is all LIVE the whole system is live the current enters from one part of the system and then and continues to travel in the line he is just another wire added to that 500kv line. what i am trying to say is there is nothing grounded in the whole video if anything was ground 500 kv would pass from it and so would the current frying the person in seconds. remember both points at same potential thingy . damn i am bad at explaining
As imobody says, & the guy at the beginning, he's not grounded. He's 'floating' off the ground, both literally and in terms of the voltage on him.
The reason we get shocks from the live wire normally is because our feet are on the floor, or we're touching something that's connected to it. So there's a voltage difference. He and the helicopter aren't. So there's no circuit. It'd be terrible if they were grounded! They'd be incinerated. They are 'isolated'.
@macuser7080 He's not grounded, he's just another wire added to the circuit... If he was grounded, this video would be pretty nasty because he would be fryed like french fries
The suit is made up of metal filaments (mostly iron) so the electricity can go through it, the conductor with less impedance, and not through the body.
No electricity goes through your body even though there's always a risk.
I have a question.. you have to keep the helicopter isolated from ground but its flying in the air how is it grounded? Thanks in advance -mike

That's not hazardous because there is no ground for electricity = no danger but high altitude.
