hourseshoe's are eccentric and are no longer allowed in the marine corp. but gunny parisi (name mentioned in video) is a sgt maj now and at camp johnson in charge of sgts course. he is awesome..
actually horse shoe is not really against regulation... i guess it depends on the what branch you serve.... Marines and guard still allow it i know for a fact
i think that horse shoe is against bootcamp regulations. But once you graduate you are allowed to have them... i know plenty of marines and guard and army with horse shoe

I had one in the 12 grade. He's right you certain;y stand out and by the way I'm an actor and not joining the marines or amry.
