Good start, but you play jazz like a rock drummer trying to play jazz. You have to make sure you are focusing all of your playing around the flow of the ride cymbal and not relying on the bass and snare drum for time. This allows you to open up your left hand and right foot for complimenting the soloist. Listen to some jazz and really hear how what the drummer is doing fits into the song as a whole. You've got some good independence but understanding the jazz idiom will take you to another level
