A nice video that promotes a really great program, Not only will this program enable many who have previously given up on learning CW to finally master it, it also helps those of us who are actively using CW to maintain or improve our skills. Thank you Ray Goff for creating and sharing your program with us, Rich KA9HMV
Thanks for the video. When I was trying to learn morse code, I had difficulty. I found this sweet app on the android market that helps a ton. It's called Morse Code Trainer and its free to use forever. I recommend it to anyone trying to learn.
Just downloaded the program, and am starting to work with it. I have not previously worked with CW, so this is all new. I noticed that after my initial fifteen minute practice session, I was not "counting" the dots and dashes, but the reflex was telling me what the letter was. I find that starting at 20wpm with an effective speed of 15wpm works well, for my ear. I love working pile-ups on phone, and adding QRM and dropping the signal strength really challenges your ear. Great program. KF6AAR
The Kock method works! I posted a whole page dedicated to the Koch method. And, the G4FON software is excellent. My page is at cw dot hfradio dot org / koch_1.html
