He's not happy. Birds pull their feathers out when they are very unhappy and frustrated. A few moments of attention are not worth the days of torture just standing there and not being able to fly like birds were meant to do in the wild.
I wish I knew! But we have been back to this aviary/boarding facility a couple of times and he has not been there...so since I took this litlte video clip I have not seen Peanut. I miss him!!! If I did not work so much I'd have an adorable cockatoo like this! Thanks for your comment! :)
Thanks for your comment! You're right, this little guy is so precious...I wanted to take him home on the spot! I have no idea if he was a rescue or not...the place where we saw him, where this video was taken, was a bird boarding place where you can visit some of the more friendly birds to keep them socialized while their owners are away. I'm so glad I took these two little clips because when we went back, his owner had come to get him and he was gone. :(

If he's that happy and friendly, then good. I was afraid that this clip was filmed at a rescue shelter and perhaps the poor thing had a plucking problem from a bad owner...I'm glad he seems so well loved! It warms my heart to see such sweetness!

it seems like the plucking ones are the most friendly! Gilly at tropical birdland UK is just the same, but even crazier!

He certainly seems to lean toward being a ladies' man lol!
