Tibet was not only a country, but once a great civilization and military power in Asia, rivaling that of China and India. Look at the Physical landmass and judge the success of the empire. Its civilization, language, customs, and religion has spread wide from modern east Pakistan, northern Indian states, western Chinese territories, Inner and out Mongolia, and parts of Central Asian communities of former USSR. Countries come and go, but civilizations endure.

I'm Tibetan & let me tell u that we r not against chinese people. we just dont want CCP ruling Tibet. Chinese people r really hard working & loyal for which i admire & respect them.
personlly speaking i dont care Tibet being part of china or independent,my interest is Tibetan people living in Tibet.they should be happy & free from any kind of suppression or mistreatment at the hands of CCP,after all Tibet belongs to Tibetans & chinese r welcome as long as they respt Tibetan culture & religion.

Yes I know, personally I don't care a cent about the CCP. I'm just here because of the many bias and ignorance I percieve from many of the people here towards the Chinese. Yes the CCP needs to improve human rights many times oer but you can't deny the economic and infasture improvements within Tibet.

why do ppl call it the "Cultural Revolution"? and why not Moa's Genocide/Killing field/etc etc? Because it WAS a revolution! Most Chinese would accept that Moa had no idea what was really happening throughout China since the violet part of revolution happened at the time Moa was in his dotage!
