I am kind of tired hearing the light, chipmunky, soprano "lights" singing the role of Christine...Give me kick a** soprano with depth, power & a voice that makes me believe Carlotta's future in the opera house is in danger...Give me voices like Vroman and Rebecca Caine.

Couldn't agree more, EnzFab73. I hate that the powers that be feel that if you're playing a character who's young, you have to have that light, chirpy sound. Lisa remains my favorite Christine, and I've been a fan of the show for 16 years.

@EnzFab73 Couldn't agree more. My judgement factor for any Christine's voice was whether or not I felt it would actually be a voice the Phantom could fall in love with... perhaps even before he fell in love with the woman behind it. Lisa Vroman's is my favorite hands down. :]

OMG!! I saw Franc D'ambrosio perform with Lisa Vroman back in 1997 when I was 9! I was looking for her for so long (actually both of them)and... Franc D'Ambrosio just told me this! he said "yeah, she's incredible"

I just came back from D'Ambrosio's Broadway show...he's amazing, funny, humble, very generous with his time, and... a great Phantom, incredibe voice and range...look him up! That performance in 1997 inspired my love for theater, the arts, and of course...MUSICALS:D!!
