  • Noooo! You destroyed the Destiny!

However very good effects, especially the light before the explosion.

But the sound at the beginning fits more with a bomb falling from a plane, even like a cartoon sound^^

  • Pretty damn awesome! You gotta make a tut for that :P What did you use? xplode modifier + particle system? also for the wave, thats aweeesome

  • Nice, but I think it'd look cooler with the bigger middle explosion starting a slight bit ahead of the rest of the ship, get what I mean?

  • 0:09 looks like a Portal!

  • hey where did u get the destiny model? i would like to download it if u found it on the internet XD

  • @DragUToHell I'll post a link in the description. I found it on a modding website. It is in .msh format, but can be converted to .3ds with some free converter i found over googling.

  • @snipperbes thx

  • The physics is terrible, but the animation looks great.

  • Nice!

  • Correct me if I am wrong, but it is Destiny not seed ship. Seed ships doesn't have the pyramid like structure at the top.

I like the sound effects. Did you made them or downloaded from somewhere?

And i will check the "Orbiter". THX.

    Sorry for my english.

  • @alberts101 I have little knowledge about Stargate, and in my game folder this model was labeled as "Seed ship", so.... yeah. Sound effects were gathered from all around the internet, particularly freesound . org and findsounds . com (without the spaces, of course). Good luck with Orbiter, it's not an easy game.

  • poor destiny xD could you make a tutorial for the explosion? :D

  • poor destiny xD

  • nice work

  • qq roellie je maakt er wat moois van ;)

  • Pretty cool! Pretty cool! :D

  • @Blender3DProjects Thanks!

  • Nice one! I particularly like the blast wave. Sticking a bunch of spot lamps with halos on and buffer shadows all facing outwards in the middle of your model makes a nice added touch to big explosions, I've found...

  • @alanpgoodwin Thank you! Though i didn't use shadow buffers for the lamp at all, i just used it for the "glow" effect.
