  • im a man u fan but this is pretty special

  • Feel so Lucky to have been there that day. Was only 16, don't think I really appreciated how much it meant to all the long suffering hibees out there.

  • A fucking Union Flag in the Hibees end - good for them. There's hope for the bastards yet!

  • never fails to send shivers down my spine.

  • Fuckin amazin man, i love the fact they just sing the song as it is with no add on hate bits. Just Beautiful well done to the Hibs fans! MON THE HOOPS!

  • what an amazing sight! brilliant support, massive respect from this leeds fan! go on hibs!

  • Monkey Heid

  • why dont we all agree there's nothing like football for bringing out the passion in us football fans, not even going to say scots, cause we all love our clubs, but we all need to kick out the religious side of it, i hate dunfermline but respect there fans love there club, love scotland, but respect england fans love there country,

  • just a raith fan as said before, to hell with rangers celtic bile, this is what football is about, passion for ur club, no matter if raith, hibs, or east stirling, to love your club without question is a feeling they guys will never have

  • I am 50 years old and have been brought up and made to accept sectarian shite, Well, no more. This is what fibas all about

  • I'm a Rangers fan, family are a cross between Hearts and Hibs (Could'nt please either so became netural) but have a soft spot for the Hibees.

I always join in with singing Sunshine on Leith in the car with my Dad on the way to football. It's a class song and Hibs are a fucking class team with class fans.

  • @DonforDead Don't hibs side with celtic though mate? cos of their irish history and that, just curious? cos i'm a liverpool fan, so i don't know about the scottish side of things that much!!

  • @HurrahForTheRedsLfc Well they don't 'side' with them, they just have an Irish background.

Like many people label Hearts as a 'Small Rangers' for their fans beliefs, yet they've got a bit of a rivalry and the Hearts fans hate being labelled like that.

The thing is though, Hibs don't sing songs unrelated to football like Rangers and Celtic do.

So it's never been a problem for me to be netural when it comes to Hibs.

  • @HurrahForTheRedsLfc Hibs were started in Leith by locals and the resident Irish, some morons side with Celtic as the Jambos (thats Hearts by the way lad) side with Rangers. There is a slight affiliation there but Glasgow is a different and more embarrassing story as the footba gets mixed up with the war back home (fuck knows why like). Regardless Hibs away to the The Weedge Blue or copycat Green is the best fixture in the Scottish league. Keeps my brief in business anyhow... On the Reds Lad

  • aw its a good momment no doubt about it but just shows you half the people in that stand that day were 1 day punters , we havent sold out a game in 4 years , the clubs for life not for finals. GGTTH

  • I'm a Leeds fan.marching on together takes some beatin for me,but i must say this is awesome!!!tears in the eyes.only sport can do this for me.must now go to see a hibs game.

  • superb

  • NK MARIBOR !!

  • may we all get to do it again very soon.

    Mon the Cabbage!!

  • I'm not a hibbie, I'm not a football fan, heck, I'm not even a Scott, but this makes the hair on my neck stand every time. What a beautiful, unique, unforgetful moment to be a part of.

  • THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MIGHTY !!!!

  • When the Sun shines on Leith my soul finds her feet

  • From a Killie fan you deserved it lads.. I hoped you enjoyed yourself. MY mate was there (as a Killie fan) he stayed on just for this...

  • Easily the best of the three most uplifting football songs, adopted or otherwise, of this, "you'll never walk alone" and "Marching on together" (have to admit bias with the last one as a Leeds fan - this one resonates more with me than it probably does with neutrals). Just seen the Proclaimers tonight in Leeds - awesome.

  • im so proud

  • May the Chief put some sunshine on Leith on Saturday as well. Fantastic capture of some emotional minutes, by the way.

  • lol this video shows me just how many of us were their (obviously i couldn't see coz i was in their somewhere)

  • Great vid,

    Glory Glory

  • As a celtic fan i've got to say this tops alot of the walk on's i've took part in for passion hands down and that's saying somthing! Hibs need to win trophies more so this can be seen more often and i hope my team stops stealing (and wasting) all thier top players so it can happen!!

  • Tozmatroz, you got it spot on there!."stops stealing (and wasting)"

  • @tozmatroz celtic fan?...ur supportive and we wasted one hibs talent in riordan, killen was never going to get better, scott brown is as good as he'll ever get (shit btw),and as for anthony stokes i have no godly idea why niel lennon felt the need to pay £1.000.000 for him!

  • @tozmatroz 'Walk On ' Is a Liverpool song, . Always has been, always will be. Never has been a Celtic song Even if Celtic sing it for a MILLION years. Even if you STILL try to claim is as yours. It NEVER WILL BE.

Being Oirish and Scottish. Hibs got there first, and you tried to shut them down for it!

  • I am a Man U fan, but watching this vid brings a tear to my eye. Must have been great to be in this crowd at this moment.

  • dude it was

  • @rabbbie99 i it was i was in it but i was only 6 but great memories fucking great

  • luv the vid rangers part hibbie fan great emotion watched the whole game hope hibs do well sunshineeeeeeee on leathhhhh (8) luv this song

  • One of those genuine Magic moments

that occur only now and then.

As a Celtic fan I was as delighted as any Hibie, at this outpouring of joy.

It was long overdue, for a great club like Hibs. I hope all that were there will remember it for a long time.

  • I cried when Hibs beat Celtic 2-1 in the league cup in '72 when I was 12. And I was crying at the end of this game especially when the supporters sang this. I'm very proud to be a Leither.

  • I too am a proud Leither but no longer live in scotland. I miss Leith so much, we are totally different people from Edinburgh folk, once you cross over the top o' the walk. I also miss going to see the cabbage!.

  • You never said a truer word, my friend. We are totally different from Edinburgh folk. I NEVER say I'm from Edinburgh.

  • I unfortunately couldn' make Hampden that day but watching this video has just put goosebumps all the way down my back - Awesome!

  • from that side it looks lyk thers millions eh hibees brill bein ther winni ever forget it even if we win cup afta cup afta cup tha first is always rememberd GGTTH !!

JOHNNY COLLINS GREEN N WHITE ARMY WIZ OOT THT DAY :D

  • my mate was sitting 2 rows behind one of the proclaimers at the final and wen this song was played he said tears were streaming down his face!

  • absoulutly amazing i was there and that brought a tear to my eye.

  • Just like celtic sing their anthem before every game, Hibs at last can do theirs too - with pride

  • an amazing day never to be forgot

  • awesome display by the hibees fans , great rendition of sunshine on leith ,,,& thats from a celtic fan
