in basic form its in key of E natural minor (one sharp)

a (subdominant) b (dominant) e (tonic ) D(subtonic)

since theres no leading tone or strong dominant u have a lot of play on how to vary ther chord as u see fit .... i like the first three straight and play the D sus 4 no 5th double (D F# E D) (root 5, root position)

Well, i can asure you that a Boss rg-50(The loop station) or whatever it is called REALLY can do lots of stuff. I could have bought one from someone i know, but i decided not to cause i didn't want that many options and possibilities. It is an absolutely amazing accessory.

Dave Kim.. can i ask you some advice? i want to buy a electric violin, but i am very short on money at the moment. i have seen quite a few which seem to be very good quality for about $120 dollors on ebay. Would it be really bad if i brought them, would the sound be totally bad? I read that your one cost $3000 something, so is there a really major difference between quality?

I would never buy any violin for $120. Consider this an investment. You can get a decent electric violin for a $1,000. Trust me, it's worth it. I'm in Barcelona right now for a corporate event with the Flaming Lips and DJ AM. I would never ever imagined that I would be doing what I'm doing playing the violin in the first place. I hope that helps.
