Dude you are playing the first 5 notes wrong. Listen carefully- it's D, E, E, E, E, then back to D, D, D. You are only playing the second fret on the first string 3 times instead of 4. Maybe you could write a note in the video notifying viewers of this. Thank you.

@Volvonaut There is a little thing on the left of the video, next to two little things standing next to each other. These are known as "the pause" button. Place your cursor (the arrow thing that moves) over the the "pause button" and hit the button on your "mouse". Or use your finger if on a mobile. Then, hit the thing next to "the pause button", and use the cursor to pull the level bar down slightly. This will adjust your volume, so you don't need to complain about it anymore. Good luck!!

i hate to break it to you. but jerry wrote that bass line and had to teach it to mike starr. actually. most of the aic bass parts, jerry wrote and showed mike. they kept mike in the band for his looks. his bass playing was good, but jerry would show him what to do. i know this for a fact, cause i'm from seattle, i'm 38, and i know someone who knows jerry and that's how i found this out

btw i know this video does not have the most effort you have put into a video but your doing things in this video you do not explain. you just move into the next part and break it all up more, making it more confusing. Just play the fuckin song then explain the parts. Thats much more easy than you doing what you will with the tempo of the song. i kept this post up still trying to learn the song, i learned it its just much more easy if you play the part your trying to teach all the way through

@Burdman224 this is an fyi for anyone, you do not have to play it exactly like Starr played it, i.e. on the 7fret or 5th fret on the E string, just make sure you hit the right notes.

In the video he shows a good way of playing the song, especially for begginners, because he doesn't have to slide his hand up and down the fret board to reach the different notes.

It is simple.
