Ich liebe das Auto. Nur was mich immer noch stutzig macht ist das DKG. Zumindest bei den älteren DKG, ist der verschleiß von den Kupplungen sehr hoch, sodass die autos reihenweise in der werkstatt waren - zb bei VW -

Wie ist es heute - schon irgendwelche Probleme mit dem Getriebe gehabt? Nächste Woche heißts Probefahren und dann wird entschieden, ob mit DKG oder 6 Gang Manuell...

Die Schaltstufen lassen sich elektronisch regeln. Von sanft bis brutal. Ich rate dringend davon ab auf nasser Fahrbahn die höchste Stufe zu benutzen. Beim Schalten gibts einen heftigen Ruck und das Heck stellt sich gerne quer. Ob das auf Dauer gut für die Kupplung ist wage ich zu bezweifeln. Bisher aber keine Probleme. Zur Not kann man es aber wie gesagt runterregeln. (macht dann aber weniger Spass. :-) ) Das DKG ist auf jedem Fall dem 6Gang vorzuziehen! Mach eine Probefahrt mit beiden!!!

So, bin jetzt Probegefahren und muss sagen - das Doppelkupplungsgetriebe hat mich überzeugt. Obwohl das herkömmliche 6 Gang Getriebe keine Wünsche offen lässt, ist wohl das DKG meine Wahl. Spitzen Wagen! Hm... jetzt fällt mir auf, ich hab die höchste Stufe der regelung gar nicht ausprobiert ^^

Sehr gute Wahl!!! Glückwunsch! Dass Du die höchste Stufe nicht ausprobiert hast ist nicht schlimm, denn nun hast Du etwas, auf das Du Dich freuen kannst. :-) Wie lange sind die aktuellen Lieferzeiten? Bei mir waren es etwa 3 Monate.

nah, m3 looks better, handles better, and will always win on the track. with the DCT, 0 to 60 is 4.1 sec ;) ISF is nice, but m3 is nicer.

for simple racetracks, DCT performs better, but it is true that auto transmissions makes the driver feel apart from the car. Manual on the other hand performs better in drift, the accelerator responds faster, fuel efficient, and feels more connected to the car, but it is true that in straight car race it is impossible to be faster than the DCT.

Since we're not talking about a regular auto transmission, we really can't say which is better overall. Preference matters

I had a GTI with DSG and now a 335i. Hopefully get into an M3 in a couple years but this tranny seems much more responsive w/o any loss of power between gearshifts like my GTI used to have. (check my videos for some stupid runs I did a while ago)

SMG is an acquired taste...I have an E46 with SMG and i wouldent trade it for anything...Ive raced 6 speed E46s and Ive ripped em....they cant shift as fast

My Dad has a E46 M3 Manual, although SMG's are slightly faster, a manual is much better to drive and is more of a drivers car !
