my mom had a 302 pinto that my dad built for her it was actually a nice running car, i have a 1970 Dodge Dart swinger that i drive, me and my dad built it to be a sleeper, the cars that get overlooked are usually the cars that will blow you away so while evryone runs around in thier camaros, mustangs, and the like, i run around in a primer grey dart running a 400Hp 383 4- speed anyway got way off track sorry great video posting good looking car

2 - two full lock / unlock powered doors,,,

3 - two full powered mirrors,,,

4 - one powered motor wiper blade on the rear window with a water from the honda car part,,,

5 - electric delay timer wiper blade,,,

6 - two taillights with 3 colors ( amber / red / white ) on the rear taillights from the capri car part,,,

I like it and how is this considered a ricer? A Ford 2300 is American made. These little Pintos were tough. Just put you an Offenhauser intake with a 380 Holley 4 bbl and a header with cat(s) delete flowmaster exhaust and that will make plenty of power for that little car. 15" Mustang GT wheels from the early 80's fit right on it too.

you add in the engine weight into that? seems rather low. i know there light but i didnt think quite that light. I've got the pintos twin the mustangII, Shes gonna be fun I'm building the engine in my college autoshop class. lookin at hopfully 350 at the flywheel, roughly 250-300 to the ground

Vegas weigh 2300 pounds stock. Pintos should be the same. Ford v8s are lighter than chevy so the weight is less. To save more weight use buick 350 vice a chevy.

actually if your only looking for 300 horsepower go with a v6 out of a type-t regal. with some modifications they are monsters.

That swap is alot harder.Early turbos weren't intercooled or preoiled and are burnt up.A 350 with a mild cam and headers is an easy 300 and is more than enough for most people.

yea, I tend to like doing the harder stuff, the replumbing of a turbo is only difficult if yo dont have someone who welds aluminium. Im working on installing injectors in the manifold and perhaps cutting it for IRI and intercooling it. the only reason it got bumped down the list is i dotn have anything to put it in at the moment. ive got the old problem of too many engines and not enough cars

A sick swap I've seen is the turbo 2300 from the turbo t bird. That engine has pushed some t birds in the 12's. Don't forget the sc 3800 t bird and the sho v6 from the taurus.

Pintos are sweet. I am currently in the process of building a 1980 bobcat with a pinto front clip. and i am putting a 302 and a 5speed in. Its alot of work but it is the best sleeper car out there.And who ever posted the previous comments about pintos being fag cars is fucking idiot and i would like to kick their ass

Amen! My uncle owns a tubbed pro street '74 Pinto with a BBF 460 tunnel rammer... excellent cruiser, and yet will woop some ass on the drag strip. They're perfect for drag racing - light weight, short wheelbase, heck... in the 70's they had a drag racing class just for Pintos with 351 Clevelands... they kicked ass then, and they kick ass now.

actually the no lights came up the car is still running and actually now it's bein sold before you start bashing a car think about the work put into it. People build cars so they will not break everything after one burnout. if that was done many times maybe but it's a strong car.
