Question : How do you access PCI slots on the board if the PSU is installed over it? From what I experience, the only time you need to remove the MB tray is when installing the board it self. But when installing for example a new card for the board, from what I can see is you need to remove the tray also, right? That's a big hassle :(
heavy about of time on cleaning. however I dfo like the color. and the motherboard try can be removed is a strong point. I do like the painted inside.. I am conserned about the dust heavy amout of dust nad heavy amout of cleaning
I went for the panzerbox, (its abit on the loud side, but in the BIOS i have the fan on quiet, so its sort of OK) and you can even squeeze a GPU up to 14 inches in there :O
But you need the bottom two removeable HDD casing/holder/bays outand into the place where your MB 24pin ATX power supply is, and its one tight squeeze!!!
Not really. If the compnay designs it badly, removing the tray can be annoying, it also makes it more flimsy. I'd rather have it riveted in the case. It's not such a big deal. But he always mentions it. Especially on cheaper cases, Of course it wont have a removable tray, thats why it's called a BUDGET case.
He makes such a point about it, I don't know. Maybe he should focus on something more important. Like amount of fans or case space.
**I want this case! I only have one question.. the case is supposed to house high end full length graphic cards. nvt seeing where the slots are and where the PSU will be i think my gfx will never fit this case.. can somebody pls comfirm?
The card is a 4870 with a Vapor-X cooking system wich makes the crd 1-2 wider due to copper tubes.
thanks, but are u sure? i forgot to mention its a sapphire TOXIC edition. The Vapor-X cooling has extended copper tubes in the heatsink wich really make the card wider. maybe u can google on 4870 toxic (vapor-x) and u will see the version i have. thanks in advance.
Wow, the entire reason I would want a removable mobo tray is to be able to access the the back plate for the cpu heatsink. That is a huuuge flaw. Also, no cable management holes. I would never buy this case personally.
hey rodney, i want to ask u a question. I have seen some people used their own custom cases, they've also used the transparent plastic material. Can u tell me what u call that kind of plastic.
I hate where they put the PSU at but the design of the case is cool. They should make an option where you can choose to add 120mm fans and maybe add fan filters. Still super nice thoe.
I've never seen the use of a removable motherboard tray, once you've installed onto it for the first time it's actually more hassle to take out all the cables you have wrapped around and behind it that it is to unscrew the motherboard. Or at least it is for me.
@Call1us Because if your like me and have big hands and hate dropping screws and crap then those removable trays are so nice!!! But this is all personal preference.
Ah, not a big fan of this case, IMO. Aesthetics is extremely important to me in a case, since it is the part of your computer that everyone sees. This case is just too plain for me.
I think I'm going to go for a Cooler Master Storm Scout (guess who's review convinced me?)
He chooses the products himself so he doesn't choose any bad cases. He also has a ranking system, Needs Improvement, Good, Great, Kickass and 100% Kickass. I may have missed something.
No, He states a few key things about that case which he doesn't care for; such as the lack of dust filters, and motherboard tray not having a hole to access the coolers retention plate. I have a question for you, though: what do you see wrong with this case? Do you believe that any of the cases he reviews are bad? Or do you perhaps enjoy failure for some reason unknown to you? The most important selling features about a case deepened on you mate, not Rodney, he just shows you the features
No, American's changed the pronunciation to "Zee" because they wanted it to sound that way. Proper British pronunciation is "Zed". Canadians, whom follow the proper British way of pronouncing words say "Zed" as well.
Yes, we Canadians say "zed" not "zee" you'll understand why if you ever try to spell out address over phone or playing the Wii especially since the two buttons on the nunchuk are "C" and "Z".
those aren't gripes. get a jigsaw and cut a cooler retention plate hole. people need to use their imagination. if companys designed and built cases for everyones needs they'd be crazy expensive. as for the cable management holes. buy a drill and some hole saw bits and step up bits and grommit edging.

i love tinkering to...but once i put a solid build into place i like not to mess with it for a time+ i don t have to much money right now..i think u need a full tower with watercooling kit...that will give you something to work on :) have a nice day
i dont really like how the psu is mounted..would much rather have it mounted at the top or bottom horizontally and also its to be expected that their is no cable management holes because this case is really cheap and affordable imo plus you can always just drill some holes if it matters that much to you..oh and the space behind the mb tray is a plus. just my 2 cents.
I guess I'll just stop watching the reviews, because everything is a kickass product. If I see a review by you anymore I'll just say to myself "Yep, that's probably something worth buying".

Rodney, why are you so engaged in having Removable motherboard trays.
Even in cases that dont have them you always say its a bad thing, it isnt.
That is, if the case has plenty of room.
As in the NZXT Beta, I bought the case, it has plenty of room.
Yeah.
