God has taken them through sickness and accidents on the road while they have been traveling to deliver his message. Me personally, I didn't receive the song at first, but at this stage in my life with the challenges that I'm facing, I totally relate God will take you there thats all they are saying.

Technicainsidia, I think you are so hung up on looking for the word "God" in the song that you miss the message of the song. To win souls, the Bible says we must be wise. The wisdom is attracting an audience that needs to hear the message. If you come out of the gate "preachy" you will often get those that already are SALT and LIGHT themselves. How do you get an audience. Jesus came into the presence of people that weren't like him but that he KNEW needed what He had... the path to salvation

@mkcobb67: You know I had this convo with my mother. We as christians need 2 let the world KNOW who we are talking about when we sing or preach. We can't just say He, him, they, God or imply who we are talking about. Why? Because if Y don't & leave gaps they can apply whatever they want 2 your imply. Every "religion" calls their gods God. If U make a generic song (love etc. ) that says "he, him" etc.. they(the world) can use it for anything(Luv Scenes). It's already being done. Broadcast Jesus!

Are they ashamed of the name of God? Don't get me wrong it's "posative" music, but if I want edifying music V3 won't "take me there". We aren't called to be culturally relevant, we are called to be the SALT and LIGHT of the earth. Salt is used in preservation light expells the darkness. Does V3 do either? STOP compromising the Gospel that is the POWER of God unto salvation, PREACH IT and "take it there!"
