Of all the UK national daily newspapers, I think the Express is easily the worst. It is complete and utter shite. I know many people by first name terms that regularly buy these papers, and they are not people whom you would regard as being easily swayed.

Benefits aren't the free lunch you might assume they are- I'm sure that figure includes migrants with four kids that need school uniforms, or that genuinely are looking for work.

There will always be some people content to scrounge, be they British, Polish or American. It's unavoidable- if we want cheap migrant labour we have to be prepared to offer them the same benefits that we get.

Look at the history of the British press , take the Sun for example, it used to be the Daily Herald, a union supported paper made for the working class, essentially by the working class, this was before the massive influence of advertising reliance on the press.

Back when that was the structure of the press, essentially the image of the world was the other way around, the capitalist class was depicted as being "lazy scroungers and parasites, who did no work" and the working class were lionised as being the truly productive members of society, because they created ALL wealth.
