  • chooww

  • so this talentless cunt got fiddled with by irish paedos..explains why hes such a tosser!

  • go on Brian!!!

  • O MY GOSH!!!! I REMEMBER THIS..... NOSTALGIA!!!!! xxxx

  • Love this song.......I actually miss Brian in Westlife.

  • I think there are alot of people especcially people who were raised catholics who can understand where he is coming from.

  • Hey Brian, Your sadly missed up at Hearts Corner D9. Best of luck mate...

  • i dont like groups that are manufactured.......thier talentless.........just getting famous on hype and bullshit .....its all about money ...... thier shit........also anybody off x factor .....load of shit...... they may say that they write thier own songs but believe me they dont......he's crap

  • @TheTwollocks You are the truly shit one !!

  • @TheTwollocks Brian is talented. I'm English and I follow him in Aus. He has done some crap but overall he can sing, write and play the guitar. He's up there with my faves. Like only a woman can should have been number one in UK yet we never got it over here.

  • @TheTwollocks Um.. you should really get some.. err.. spelling classes..

You spelt "their" wrong, and your grammar is quite poor aswell.. :S

  • @xILikeBunniesx ..... and what

  • @xILikeBunniesx .... he is still shit

  • @TheTwollocks why watch then ?

  • @xILikeBunniesx mmmmmmm maybe you should revise your own grammar?

  • @XxDyiingBlackRosexX .......he is.... he's aload of shite......he doesn't write his own songs and he comes from a manufactured band......that were also aload of shit..........TALENTLESS.......you only like him because you've had a crush on him since you were small...........HE'S SHIT

  • he's a load of shit......he doesn't write his own songs......he's just made up by louis walsh.......he probably cant even sing thats the reality of it

  • @TheTwollocks if he didn't what does it matter? He has a good voice is sexy that is his product. Not the fact that he wrote his own material. Westlife sure is a "manufactured" band but they are good at what they do too. If it is a case you don't like him then why are you here listening to him and commenting on him? Just stay away and find some music you do like on youtube. Unless you are a martyr. relax you're gonna have a stroke. I love Brian and Westlife both.

  • a very honest song. some irish people need to leave ireland and feed their own minds.

  • Stop smoking on planes u drunk fuck!

  • @TheDeanosarus stfu

  • I can't believe this is the same man that was in westlife, married to Kerry Katona, and that horrible new song. :3

  • actually he's now forgotten he's irish...

  • @neeltje96 Just as well, have you heard his new song? Horrible!

  • @DavidL999 you're right it's awful!!! i don't like him anymore!! i'm glad he has left westlife. at least now he can not light them with such idiotic things.

  • @neeltje96 what song are you talking about?

  • @max91052 just the way you are(drunk at the bar) AWFUL!!!

  • @neeltje96

For me, it's not awful - it's just a ridiculously hilarious song.

  • @SweetMatheson can be, but for me it is horrible..

  • I love Brain with or without Westlife. This song is great. I am half Irish it rocks. Also love how Brain added his daughter Molly Maire McFadden and Lilly Sue McFadden into his clip this clip!!! xxx Bless you Brain and your loved ones.

  • HEY IRELAND.... GREENTINGS FROM ¡¡¡¡MEXICO!!!!! , CHEERS GUYS AND BEAUTY GIRLS!

  • @revol1998 me too

  • I hate this guy, he's so awesome and the song is great. It's easy to feel identified when you were born and raised in a catholic country.

  • @Weetabix87 what do you mean you hate Brian?

  • Belfast FTW

  • miss this man being wiht westlife,.. like the song,..

  • brian :D

  • This song sounds like some song by nick carter..not sure what its called. Ithink with a video on a boat or something

  • @PowerRedBull I think you will find that Nick Carter is American so what does he know about being an Irish son, at least Brian was born in Ireland and knows what he is singing about!!!!!

  • @PowerRedBull Nick Carter is American! He would know nothing about being an Irish son! Brian was Ireland born and bred!!!!

  • this song means a lot to so many first generation Brits of Irish decent.

  • @aranterranting

    Well fuck them too.

It is what it is now.

Every society has skeletons in the closet.

  • @stevieontour stfu you wanker

  • te amo bryan eres simplemente el mejor.. mi corazon esta contigo y con westlife

  • love u brian

    its amazing song

    hes so talent

  • love you brian! mhaauuuhhhh!!!!

  • I love him!! He is just amazing!!!

  • great song, he sure had balls to bring this out!! pity it got relegated to peaking at lower end of the charts, perhaps due to its controversial/ thought provoking content didn't get much airplay??

  • Great song. It's sad that it's still a forced religion in Ireland. If it's so good you shouldn't have to force people into it. I'm a Roman Catholic. Not by choice. My parents had to have me Baptised so they could send me to school to give me an education. The fact you still need a Baptism Cert to send your kids to school is proof that's it's still a forced religion in Ireland.

  • @WhenTheSkiesGoBlue Depends what part of Ireland you are from!!!!

  • @michelle196521

Well, I'm from Dublin. Do you need a Baptismal Cert up the north of Ireland?

  • @WhenTheSkiesGoBlue

Many man countries in the world where you want a decent education, and you don't want to pay big money, people head to the Catholic Schools.

It's their schools and they want to teach with their religion. Deal with it.

  • @stevieontour

They're not funded by the church. They're funded by the state, in other words, they're funded by the taxpayers of Ireland. I'm not talking about Christian Brother Schools. Christian Brother Schools are entitled to teach Christianity all they want, I don't care..

  • @stevieontour

State funded schools are different and I do care. Parents shouldn't have to force their children into a religion they may not believe in, so they can give them an education. State funded schools should be neutral. Teach all religions equally, or teach none.

  • @WhenTheSkiesGoBlue

I've actually left Ireland ... been gone for 6 yrs now.

The only real thing that I did hate, was the sense of victimhood.

Just get on with life .. like every other society does.

I have no time for the Catholic church, but if I'd like my kid to get a good education, you just do what you have to do. You know, when the rest of the world read Irish opinions on Ireland they get an impression of a backward country. Just travel a bit and you'll realise how advance Ireland is.

  • @stevieontour

I've seen how advanced Ireland is compared to many other countries. We're extremely fortunate to have all we do. I'm extremely thankful and grateful for all I have.

I don't like living in the past. I focus on creating a better future. Sometimes creating a better future means dealing with old and current problems. This is one of them.

  • @stevieontour

The people that turn a blind eye to it and just accept it, like it can't be changed are part of the problem. I believe it can be changed.

The Irish are not victims and we're not living in the past. The Irish are survivors. It depends how you choose to see things. I don't focus on the negative. I see the good that can come from it.

  • I vaguley remember this songs release and tbh I don't appreciate it's anti-catholic stand point. Don't see why his first song when he left westlife was an anti-catholic song =S I don't undertand his reasoning for such a strongly worded lyric.. Tbh it offends me. I'm all for freedom of speech and religion, and have no issue whatsoever with his lapsed catholocism, but he doesn't need to put it all out there =\

  • @liammccabe05 I don't appreciate the Catholic church's standpoint on abortion, homosexuality, contraception, stem cell research etc, I think the world would be better off if every member of that evil little fascist death cult would grow the fuck up and open their eyes to the bullshit they believe in, I understand exactly the reasoning behind this song as someone who was forced into that regime against my will since birth and fully appreciate anyone having the balls to come out against it.

  • To paintedpilgrim- With respect- What are you on about you knob, Derry is a county

  • he is kinda cute...but man his fiance Delta Goodrem is hot!

  • To willbande, Never heard of a place called Londonderry, have heard of Derry though. Was that the place you meant????

  • @coldmountain888

They are the same place.....Derry was the original name and then James I renamed the City when it gained its charter.......and its still known as both, but its legal name is London derry....but the city council is known as Derry Citty Council......

  • even if you left westlife...

    i still idolized you...........

    love you Bryan........

  • I don'r

t care what anyone says, I love Brian & his songs. He's my favorite singer apart from Delta. They are a lovely match. Keep up the good work.. Love you..xxx

  • i love this song

  • this is his best song

  • brian get get back with the boys . and get the rid of fag

  • nice song. i like it.

  • For those critics of the words of this song - the Catholic Church in Ireland has a history of sexual, physical and emotional abuse which still isn't being dealt with. It continues to happen today.

  • @willbande what aload of crap you wrote there of course there is a history of abuse in the church but for you to say thats its not being dealt with is total crap i myself a roman cathol;ic and proud to be and if any priest abuses children then they should be punished accordinly bt the church is doing everything it can to stamp it out

  • @juv7 My mom is from Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Incidents of cover-ups, and bribery are still being uncovered there, priests are still being moved to different parishes in the hope that abuse scandals blow over. My knowledge is first hand. Your little emotional rave is obviously out of some sense of loyalty to an organisation that has consistently refused to tackle this horrendous problem with honestly and transparency. End of conversation.

  • Absolutely wonderful talented songwriter and singer.

  • @Cherrytime1 Obviously this video was filmed in Dublin isnt?, where bryan was born!

  • I was born in an extremely catholic country and on top of that, a third world country (it's the official religion) why is it that I never had to deal with the stuff he's talking about?

  • @Weetabix87 It depends where you are from, some places don't get any problems, it's usually in more wealthy countries where they are greedy. You were kinda lucky in that respect I guess :)

  • how can u criticize him for the lyrics, he is just expressing himself. from songs ages ago that slaves sang(swing low sweet chariot?) for freedom and this song is meant to show his opinion. nowadays a song is just like a tv show or an article.

another song that comes to mind is pink's 'dear mr president' we know how controversial that was but it got the message across succesfully

  • this song is fukin bullshit how can any1 like this shit

  • this song help me more than brian could have ever tought, i am irish bought up in a small town, we went trough hell every day with the nuns and all in the name of god, when this song come out i was having help from a shrink , and it helped me not to hold back what happned to meand say it was not my fault i was a child ,now after all this time i can move on , thank you for this song.

  • @bellabettaful lol..hardly a complment!

  • love this song, great to make a point of the religious crap people get brought up with in Eire. go Brian!!Saw u in Darwin tonite - u rock!

  • children should not have religion forced down their throats and taught if they don't believe in that religions "morals" and "god" they will be punished to eternal damnnation. people don't realize how long eternity really is. everyone should have the right to believe in what they believe in, if we didn't we'd all be the same. And in a world where everyone's the same, i don't know about you but eternity in hell sounds 10 times better.

  • @aranterranting

Not just the Irish, but it strikes a cord with anyone who comes to question the values and beliefs he's been handed and gang pressed into believing since birth.

  • Dublin a great city Love it! Have a Guiness! Love his singing and he is Corr Sexy boy!

  • Am I understanding well? Is this song about sexual abuses from catholic priests???

  • amazing song

  • hes is not a pig and , i wish people would read the fucking paper before , passing jugments on him he so happens to be a very old friend of mine since school and that slapper used eveything and everyone in her power to stir up shit, she is a ugly stupid cunt & can not sing,, so do you catch my drift!!

  • I agree with you....

  • I really like him as do many people, bit gutted his solo career didn't take off as I love his music, and yeah she is a wee slapper

  • Sorry but I also don't think his music was given credit as I really loved it. And I will continue to support him and I hope he comes back. She was a talentless slapper like Jordon who lives on publicity. Hope he doesn't give up his fight to be an individual after leaving the band. Not a major fan but I do thoroughly support him against the little tart. How on earth does he not have those kids? Its a disgrace

  • @PROPAbow nah she a total cow! but brian is not very far behind her!

  • @PROPAbow fair play my friend your so so right,,up the ra
