  • I love this song, almost Floyd-ish.

  • This album was purposely made to be like a Wings album, very much like how 'Flaming Pie' was made to be like a Beatles album.

This track is what I'd say is the most like a Wings track, with lyrics that seem unchanged, despite the other tracks having a low voice. This is also my favorite on the album.

  • 2:20is my favorite part of the picture because there is a guitare solo with a picture of a banjo lol.

  • @Bleudour hahahahah true

  • Why doesn't he do this live It would ROCK...

  • @MrRockenrudy He does.

  • Paul McFuckingCartney is still the world's greatest musicians

  • Man, it's really cool to see that McCartney whimsy applied to something dark.

  • Heavy, heavy, heavy stuff brothers and sisters.

  • always in the top, that's amazing

  • Not going to lie but Paul hasn't made a song like this in a long time! This song is amazing! Leave it to a beatle to create something of this caliber. Best song on the album by far.

  • Oh. My. Fucking. God.

This song is seriously too damn deep.

    I Love You Macca!

  • Crazy how you can hear 2 second of a song and know its great!! Thats what happens when i put in an album nowadays. I press play, hear junk, skip to the next track, still junk, still junk, ski skip skip, then there it is, a great song. Almost every album has maybe two good songs on it now. Hit or miss? or filler, I wonder. How can artists create such great hits and not be able to distinguish junk from good? They must know most songs they release on albums will get a negative response, right?

  • man he really went for it with this one...

  • My, how his nose has grown.

  • @marvy1118 It's called "gravity" dummy!

  • Powerful song from an awesome man!

  • when he and Ringo are gone ( god forbid ) the country should demand a statue to the Beatles .

  • 5 people dont have culture

  • what song is he playing in the video?

  • @fazg2 Young Boy (1997)

  • He's still got it

  • @MisterOldSchool1 LOL, you are dupe by the Beatles themselves, it was a plot to sale records.

  • my favorite song!!!!!! well... one of em :)

  • This song is incredible.

  • great song...Paul i love you....

  • Getting better all the time.

  • This is my favorite song of the Memory Almost Full album! :D

  • I dig it.

  • This song is awesome

  • Coldplay copied this song on "Violet Hill"

  • How did the copy it?

  • This song is the depressed son of "Nineteen-Hundred-Eighty-Five" from "Band on the Run."

  • I quite agree with you... in the last years, actually since Flaming Pie, I too thing he actualy "lost something" :-(. But my!!! This song is probably the best song he has written in his whole solo carrer; it just blows me away every single time I listen to it ....

  • The missing ingredient to his more recent records is Linda, he was happier when he was with her, also she was on all of his solo albums up to and including Flaming Pie, after she died a part of Paul went too. I still love MAF though, best since Ram.

  • dont give this comment a thumbs dumb he has a good point he can never go back to what he used to be but this is still great music dont get me wroung i love this song

  • why would you get a thumbs down ??, you are right, he can't go back, ab

nd the only way there ever is, is forwards,

  • minime766 : the only thing hes lost is his young age.

  • Agreed!! thank-you for putting it straight. anyone who thinks paul has "lost something" is missing something in their own brain....besides his youth of course. but even that can be argued against. long live macca.

  • @beatles1010 Not to mention John and George

  • amazing song!!!!

  • GREATTT song, I love you Paul

  • It was mentioned on the BBC, the heart surgery, it is probably genetic. When MACCA dies the whole of Britain will be in mourning, except for Heather Mills, who will probably have suddenly found the ability to dance - oh, wait, she has already...Poor Linda, she put up with a lot, but she was intelligent xx

  • Macca is the main man best singer song writer ever

  • Great song, but I love GOERGE HARRSION!

  • THIS SONG IS AMAZING!

  • Too long? No way. Best song on MAF.

  • This is very well made! I enjoyed it.

    *****

  • oh,so good

  • Paul Beatles Mccartney 4 ever !!! the greatest.....

  • I love 2:01-2:10 - sounds even better on the Amoeba record, since you can hear the harmony better.

  • great song

  • Screw you let's see you do better bitch

  • what is the point of a comment like that?

  • What's the point in her /him/cactus insulting Paul...Maybe I'm tooooo big a fan girl but really show up the good or shut-it

  • this is one of the best songs sir paul has EVER made. He is a wonderful caring person. He also recently had some kind of heart surgery. So show some respect!

  • actually, he didn't have any kind of heart surgery. unless he himself is lying about it.

  • oh, i heard so on tv.

  • yeah i know. :] but then he said it wasn't true and it was just a rumor

  • thiins song could easily be in Sgt Peppers and Abbey Road....

  • More Abbey Road.. But the quality is as good as anything Paul wrote on those two albums.

  • the guy is the best

  • Es una gran obra de la musica de este genio.!

  • Paul has been borrowing - a certain sound off Driving Rain is "borrowed" from Coldplay, I thought. BUT he is Paul and he's had a lot on his plate recently. If that's all we can detect, then rock on man!!!

  • I actually don't like the mixing of MAF. I dont know how to say it, but this song does durt my ears if I turn it loud. I think Chaos and Creation is better produced.

  • It is better produced, but I like that careless abandon MAF shows. Those albums are polar opposites but both great. Ed

  • Did you know that a beehive is a house of wax?

  • My favorite song from the album... the song has a distinctly Black Sabbath-ish feeling which I think is great. I note that part B ("hidden in the yard") seems to have been borrowed from Nirvana's Something ("Somethin in the way").

  • I loved they songs on this album

i kinda though Paul kinda took a left turn in terms the way his music sounds.

But hey thats one of the great things about him still writing unique music=)

  • this song is fantastic. i liked his last album better. this is a great vocal performace.i still think mr bellamy is the best song on the new cd.

  • I love this song,,its a great rock n roll song,,,,

  • Dont ever repy again spammer

  • Memory Almost Full is dedicated to his late wife, Linda. Not an ounce of Heather is in this album.

  • Inspiring song

  • Paul McCartney still rocks in his latest album. Just listen to "Nod Your Head". It's got a bit of "I'm The Walrus", "Helter Skelter" and "Live And Let Die". Great to see Concord Records promoting it as a music video clip on youtube [Video #6] featuring Paul McCartney and a host of 20-something babes. I friggin love this album after one or two times playing it I'm addicted to it. So Beatles and Wings sounding. Thanks man.

  • LOVE IT!

  • wow....

not the normal paul kind of song..

It's like paul singing Queen.. just better.. haha..

the echo, the voice, riffs, drums.. the music all in all..

    good song!

  • At 2:08 there's a "3" under his hand. Another clue for you all.

  • a clue for what?????!! another clue? so theres more? wow im lost

  • Just as the Beatles left "Paul is dead" clues on Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road, Paul's albums, and now videos, seem to be full of strange clues of something. Who is "Mr. Bellamy"? a sort.

  • Mister bellamy is character created by Edgar Allan Poe, in his book "Mister Bellamy"

  • the paul is dead clue is all a hoax. he was supposed to die in a car crash in 1965 or 1966. it was just a way to trick people. its not real.

  • that is no clue, just a cloud. paul is dead clues a hoax.

  • paul is the one and only and hopefully never forget him and his music later dudes

  • go away people who are advertising nudity... that is completely unrelated to this video

  • Awe inspiring.

  • MAF......right up there with Ram and Back to the Egg....good stuff!

  • Paul is so experimental all these years...I love this dark, bombastic song and the guitar....very cool.

  • Standout song,well sung,great guitar solo,I heard played by paul,fantastic!

  • actually, the first time i heard Memory Almost Full could not appreciate it, don't ask me why. Same happened with Chaos.... But how can I possibly dislike it, so played it twice more and got hooked to it. Now have to hide it or just play any of his previous works... This is why Paul is so so good...

  • Love those shoes! Another great masterpiece.

  • ..and guess who plays lead guitar on Taxman and Another Girl

  • And guess who plays the drums in The ballad of John and Yoko?

  • superrrrrrrrrrr

  • Great song!

  • I agree...melito9791 you feel it..yeah,yeah !!

  • i say paul will always be hot! and will be young forever :)

  • If the Beatles were still together, today, they would make an album like Memory almost full.

  • But they would have had John there as a songwriter too, so it would have sounded a little bit different. George would probably have written a couple of songs too. His last album released after he died was actually very good

  • The editing work is very bad, but the song you chose is so good I'll forgive you :-).

  • I agree. I think it`s a gem. Paul knows how to write great songs, and he always will. Too bad John is dead. We lost a good deal of great music when he died, but i`m glad we still have Paul!

  • Cool!

  • beatles 4 ever!!!!!!!!!!!! go paul u rule!!!!

  • Get on the road Paul, We want to see you.The new CD is BRILLIANT.

  • This album is like Beatles and Wings!

  • no its like paul mccartney

  • I'm 23 and RAYSEMEE SUCKS!!! LOVE THE ALBUM, LOVE PAUL MCCARTNEY!!!

  • he's great for 65 rock on paul!

  • This is the BEST song on Pauls new album!

  • i agree

  • John Lennon would have been alot more complimentary about this album, than some of his so called die hard fan`s.Get real.

  • This track is amazing, very atmospheric, spacey. My favourtite on the album next to Mr Bellamy. *****

  • Ha Ha Rayseeme, I see you have your work cut out, slagging all the Mccartney tracks on Youtube. You're a JL fan I see, why are you guys so bitter all the time?

  • i'm 54 and this cd stinks

  • not sure what your age has to do with it but ok good for you. You are apparently in the minority. Does this mean you bought it? Great! Pass it along to someone who might appreciate it.

  • No it doesn`t. It`s not his best album, but it`s a good one. And "House of wax" is as good as any of Pauls songs on Abbey Road! He just proved himself again, and people like you are not happy. What more do you want from the man?

  • I love the whole Cd.

    G.B.

  • excellent Song!!! happy birthday Paul

  • The best in many years from McCartney!

  • Very true. This song is a gem! He sings very well on this one too! It`s amazing. He still has it!

  • Paul gives WINGS a rebirth. This CD is brilliant, best since, BAND ON THE RUN.

  • Talk about poets!! This is sooooo...poetic. :D I LOVE IT!

EXCELLENT! Sounds like a bit of Poe with a splash of Vincent Prices' "House of Wax"....oooooo spookie? Nah. It's life.

  • This is my favorite song on the album. I am hoping he will tour and play this album extensively.

  • Exellent Vid And Song Samwings! Macca's Voice Sounds Great,Fresh And Youthful! What A Man!

  • Love the feel of this song.

  • Mac is back, chaos now this,we`re not worthy, miss this at your peril.

  • I mostly listen to linkin park, nine inch nails, thrice, and incubus and i still see that paul is amazing. This song is amazing and so are quite a few others on the new album(like mister bellamy). I dont know what compelled me to download this cd, which is something i wouldnt normally have downloaded, but i now see where my favorite, seemingly completely different, bands get their sonic influences. This is amazing.

  • Vomitorator... good for you. Most people miss how significant McCartney is. You might dig some of the stuff from his alter-ego... The Fireman. And... Liverpool Sound Collage. There's some cool UGLY stuff mixed into those CD's!

  • Thanks! Yeah, i'll check those out. This cd is amazing.

  • Im 18 and Im about as big a Beatle as anyone will meet. Beatles FOREVER!

  • I am 12 and my brothers are 6 and 9 and we are likewise!

  • Good. I hope We can keep Beatles music living Forever

  • Love this one--it has an ethereal quality. Love the phrase "Lightning hits the House of Wax..."

Cant wait to get this cd!

  • hey jlennon28, I'm 17 haha and you're right, if there isn't one number one, I'm going on strike lol

  • It's up to you guys, you know. I'm a first-generation Beatles fan, and the current music market considers my opinion irrelevant. Paul is a genius--it shouldn't matter how old he is or whether some of his past music is silly. This album is a masterpiece and deserves playtime.

  • oh trust me if it was up to me, I'd be having Paul on every radio station, and recieving te same amount of attention he would've gotten in '66.

  • what a masterpiece! Paul has written a wonderfully effusive lyric here - and I think this will be a stand-out track. His vocal is awesome and his guitar work superb. Paul is renowned as an impeccable bass player and accoustic guitar man - but he has also been a fine drummer and Band On The Run and Flaming Pie (apart from Ringo's contributions)are testimony to his talents there. This new album has me more excited about a Paul McCartney record since Flaming Pie following the Anthology.Cheers Paul.

  • And guess who plays the drums on Dear Prudence?

  • Jesus, lol! Did you know paul did the drums on back in the USSR cause ringo was on holiday

  • @Horationelson4ever Ringo wasn't on a holiday he left the band for a part of the White Album

  • I just learned that Paul McCartney played lead guitar on Peppers Good Morning,Good Morning.Thats A Great guitar solo. I always thought it was John.

  • Rusty plays this solo I believe.Dave gilmour and Paul McCartney's friendship goes back to the 60's when Pink Floyd used to record at Abby Road. Gilmour plays on broad street, flowers in the dirt, run devil run. They are close friends and Gilmour can play like no other.

  • Two peopple who already have copies of MAF have told me that Paul plays lead guitar on this song.

  • Hey guys--I just discovered a brand new "message from Paul" here on YouTube where you can tell him what you think about this song and others on Memory Almost Full. He deserves to know how great we think this music is.

  • this is gonna be a great album...better have at least one #1...how old is everyone here? I'm 18...

  • The hair is standing on the back of neck. MACA Has gone crazy. Where did this come from? Unreal! Brillant! WOW!!

  • GREAT SOLO PAUL!!!

  • When I listen to No More Lonely Night.I asked hey who's that guitarist? Now I know it's Paul.

  • The guitar solo on No More Lonely Nights was by Dave Gilmour from Pink Floyd

  • Oh! that was one of the best guitar work I ever heard.

    thanks.

  • Paul is underated as a lead guitarist; not many people know that he played the guitar riff on Taxman, not George.

  • That riff on Taxman was amazing.

  • that epiphone casino could be in any museum of music without any trouble.

  • I have follow Paul since the first Ed Sullivan appearance when I was in the first grade. Frankly, grammy nomination is not the question, if Paul does not win numerous grammy's with this incredible new work then the academy needs to shut it's doors. Paul has been snubs to many times, but this time, they will have no excuse, this is the best work from anyone in many many years. Paul you are incredible, keep on rocking.

  • Ok, call me crazy but the second guitar solo sounds like Neil Young in his Crazy Horse days. It sounds honest, frank, frantic, angry and repetitively blunt - and when it changes note, the listener notices and appologizes for whatever he's done to cause such anger on the guitarists behalf. Really killer solo. If that is Paul on the solo as has been suggested here, I'm really impressed. P.S. I have always been impressed with Paul never the less.

  • House of Wax isn't taht a Paris Hilton movie? When is she going to Jail by the way?

  • Oh yeah... that's McCartney's guitar! His solos always sound like something important is ripping!

  • if anyone deserves to be in the rock and roll hall of fame, its you Paul.ten times over!

  • I feel a grammy nomination coming up...with a better chance to win than C and C. (and I adore C and C.)

Hurry up June 5, I ache for this CD!

  • Are the guitar solos from Paul or Rusty? Sounds like Paul's lead playing to me...

  • According to a recent interview with the producer I read 5 minutes ago, Paul played the solos, and every other instrument on this track. Breathtaking!!

  • This is the very best that McCartney can be. Amazing song.

  • MAC IS BACK ! This album is pure genus !

  • A tremendous mood setting song, the "feel" established from the start by Paul's piano playing. Great production throughout. This should be the theme of a film or a film made about the lyrics. Great vocals from Paul. Great lead guitar from Rusty I assume or maybe Paul. Tremendous chord changes in the song that work perfectly. John would have loved song this and you easily can hear him in the choruses (Hidden in the yard...)

  • Guitars, and everything else on this song, by PAUL

  • Thanks Paul.

We love it. We are so excited to get the new album.

Unbelievable vocals - powerful a la Little Lamb Dragonfly.

Great guitars and drums, can't say enough...

  • Paul, you must come to Koldal! and drink Dr.Dralles haarwasser one more time!

    A.H

  • fantastic,almost like he`s back!

  • Love it!!! So dark and mysterious.

    Rockin guitar!

  • A great rocking number..

this band is so great...Rusty's Guitar sound like Dave Gilmour.

    Paul is the best

  • That's what I thought-The Wall?

  • That's Paul, not Rusty. Paul plays every instrument, including the Lead Guitar solos, on this track.

  • That's Paul, not Rusty.

  • Ok I heard this two weeks ago and thought WTF!!! this track rawks!! one of my favs off the album.. between the piano and the shreddin guitars of Brian & Rusty's

wooohooo a 10 all the way

    Harleyblues

    Ca
