I love this song, and the video was great. The only part I would have changed was in the last verse, where Ben sings, "And somebody says that it's always been this way..." That line just takes me there - to the funeral - and I hear a phrase out of the low chatter in the rain, "It's always been this way," spoken by someone unseen and faceless, but having a powerful effect on the speaker (of the song) as he comes to realize its truth.

Having depression as part of my life, to hear this song or watch a vid that shows nothing of helping someone really be able to stand on her own 2 feet or deal w/ the obvious mental illness/depression or possibly trauma from early abuse was disgusting. Hugging someone a lot and leaving them in bed is neglect and abuse when they need something utterly different, including talk/movement/drug therapy. I am crying over the ignorance and missed life shown in the song and vids made about it.

Th point was he WASN'T helping her, and he was too busy to fully understand her problems. Also... it's just a youtube video, crying over the injustice of a YOUTUBE VIDEO just seems a little extreme to me.
