    /watch?v=JQN5gUAqJDs

    i hope u like it! thank u :)

  • Hee Jorden.. dit is zeg maar HET liedje van mij en mijn vriend. Maar wij vinden allebei dat je het supergoed doet!! Top :-)

  • Hey, you;re really good. And I like your hair.

  • Interesting cover, A good attempt not quite though. Heck its a hard song :l I have the same t-shirt ^^

  • this is a cover, not a replica of the song, though not the same chords john uses him self, least it sounds similar. i liked it, 5*

  • great cover!!! :) I like your t-shirt!!! :) where buy it? thanks!

  • What effect pedal did you use for the solo? :o

  • i need that shirt!! by the way, awsome playing!

  • chad smith has said there gunna start jamming again in oct of 2009 so in a couple of months and everyone knows there jamming leads to new songs YAY!

  • @chips090909

New album is said to come in 2010. They are indeed getting together and writing for the purpose of a new album. Ultimate-Guitar has the article.

  • Did you know John has left. :'(

  • Can you tell me what chords you're using? cos they're awesome and i really want to learn this great song

  • im not sure but it looks like A,C,G,F i dont know the song but thats what it looks like from what hes doing

  • doe ik ook xD

    Kuss

  • This sounds so awesome!! Great cover!!!

  • i wish theyd use power chords so i could attempt to play they're songs

  • if they used power chords, their songs would't sound this awesome!!!!

  • thats true, power chords are just singel tones with a chord sound.. :D john frusicante is a genius in chords, the only song i can remember where rhcp plays power chords is dani california chours.

  • shes only 18 has power chords in the chrous too

  • that was gret man pleas post more great cover keep it up!

  • awesome!

  • 2:50 to 3:00, best frusciante vocal harmonies ever (not to mention most complex). it's a shame that they're now on a hiatus for an indefinite period of time.

  • their supposed to get back together at the end of this year.they said a while ago that they would go on hiatus for two years.not trying to be an asshole but it does get me mad when people arent up on good news and only know the worse parts of it

  • At the time when I wrote that comment, that news was unavailable. I had just read in an interview with John Frusciante in GuitarWORLD that they had not agreed upon a specific amount of time for their break.

  • nice work dude... sounds good xD

  • where can i get a good copy of this song

  • from 2:08 to 2:20

i came in my pants a little bit. the sickest line ever written by the rhcp. the solo makes the line even sicker

  • dude you know where it's at. Froosh-style thumb, strat, great song choices. they're the amazing ones that don't get a lot of attention, plus the amazing ones that do. rock on.

  • Right on!

  • cool cover!

    cool shirt!

  • cool

  • Ahh, I want that shirt. My old one got like destroyed

  • sweet cover man love this song play it all the time on drums

  • dude. you could be the next john mother fuckin frusciante. lol (SLANE!!!)

seriously awesome, all your cover are great

  • i like ye

  • Nice cover, very good. Well done!

  • good job, but the solo is a little off. i'm guessing it's because you couldn't get enough sustain/feedback. anyone know, how John does that? overdrive pedal?

  • He uses a boss turbo distortion for tone then prolly some overdrive or compression-sustainer pedal.

    and he has awesome amps.

  • electro harmonix big muff and boss ds-2

  • lol that sounds dangerous...

  • he is good

  • awesome

  • great cool shirt

  • fantastic.

  • Apart from a couple of wrong notes in the beginning, a very solid cover. In fact, the best guitar cover of this song I've heard yet! Great work man!

  • woot krl vet gitaar werk man ! serieus je kan zo in un band spele man! vet shirt trouwens!

  • Rhythmically this is excellent but I really think you should use the proper chords in the verse. What you have used are standard A major, C major, G major and F major chords. Seriously mate that standard A major sounds pretty out of place and the C and the F aren't quite right either. The chords that boomshot gave you are the correct ones - Asus2, Cadd9, G and F6.

  • u play nice aaand nice t-shirt RHCP rulezzzz

  • Awesome

  • awesome dude! :D

  • nice cover ... and very nice shirt :)

  • Thanks man ;)

  • awesome job dude!

    love the shirt too :)

  • you are great!!! i watched the other covers but this one is the best!!!! great....

  • Thanks!

  • haha i agree wit boomshot ur chords are way off, next time try not to play by ear

  • I think it sounds pretty good. Two thumbs up JordenvanDijk

  • holy shit ur chords are way off... verse is Asus2, Cadd9, G, F6 chorus is F#m, A/E, E, E6/9

  • I did this song by ear and I think it sounds good the way I play. I don't say it's correct but in my opinion it's good.

  • whatever floats ur boat.

  • @JordenvanDijk That's great that you learned those chords you're playing by ear, but you need to practice that skill and raise it to a higher standard (especially if you're going to name this vid the title of the song - you're bound to come under scrutiny!) @boomshot109 has the chords right and if you listen carefully to the timbre of the guitar on the record you'll notice that the verse chords have open strings (not barred) played which should prob suggest you need to think in position 1.

  • @JordenvanDijk Also, you played Amaj when the verse is in Am (which means the listener has to endure the false relation of C (implied by the record - the guy actually plays Asus2 so the note is open B on the 2nd string) and C# (what you play on the B string) Muddy! I do like that you learned this by ear though! I much prefer guitarists to do this than to try and look up ridiculous TAB websites that post bollocks versions. Keep at it, bro. ***

  • @JordenvanDijk it's very good to practice songs by ear, but it always better to look how it was really played and learn from it...

  • great dude, i loved it. btw great shirt! lol

  • Thanks man

  • great;)

  • Yeah great !

    You're wonderful ;)

  • this looks to me to me all right(8)
