i saw a website on ladder theory, your short film portrays it well enough. despite the fact reinventing yourself for the same person is a near impossible task in the real world, the film was convincing. job well done.
@ezzbox The writers of the Declaration of Independence and Charles Darwin are both dead and more well known then the ladder theory and there should at LEAST be a thanks to Dallas Lynn in your credits. Come on, guys. Not tryin' to be a "rival production company," but it certainly seemed like you were attempting to pass off the ladder theory as your own.
@CallawayCinema well you are making it look like a rival move by calling it out like that. hi and bye worked just as hard as any other team just like your with your nexus. everybody's ideas were unique and original. just b/c weve all heard a " ladder theory" doesnt mean that its necessarily " plagiarizing" so is it plagiarism that a killer happens to kill both lovers that wanted to kill each other? i can name 10 films. but i guess thats your perspective.
@Lemonade88 Ugh, not everybody has heard of the ladder theory. i don't know why you insist on acting like it's common knowledge when a majority of people who saw it have never heard of the website/theory before.
Using exact quotes of someone else's writing without a credit is a totally different thing from having similar plot points to other movies. I'm sorry but that's common sense.
I would really love to hear the 10 films that you can name.
You could at the VERY LEAST post a link to the website in the info of this youtube page. No need to make a big dramatic blog post that I can't even comment on, just give people who deserve credit credits. It shouldn't be such a big deal for you guys.
@Lemonade88 If it's not a problem then do it. Come on. I know you can't, so don't even front like it's too easy to bother, just put up a goddamn link to the ladder theory website in your video's info and then it won't look like your trying to present someone else's work as yours, the very definition of plagarism.
I'm sorry guys, but this is BLANTANT plagiarism. You think other people don't have the internet? You know somebody else sat down and actually worked on putting those words together?
Good work! I was a little sketchy on what was happening at first, but it quickly became apparent when The Love Chef made his appearance. Well acted, Erick! And when did your voice deepen like that?
wonderful film for the 48 hours project..... definitely one of my favorite short films ever ;D

Great work! How many were you planning the production?
Dont know if its just me but, isn't there like a frame in the end of 7:08 swopping by? Looks like the rests of a removed fade out or something :P
