Hi. I am considering building one of these Candu EZ tugs as well. I was thinking of powering it with an outboard in a well. Is yours an inboard and what horsepower do you use? Also, how good is the boat in moderate chop or seaway? Cheers and thanks, Terry
@terryrowsell yeah it'd take some good chop, but its a wet deck in a following sea so build in scuppers. tugs are very well designed..no matter what size..built for rugged use in most types of weather. true workboats and in my opinion the most beautiful of all boats ...if iwas going to build a candu- id lower the counter stern to allow for easy line handling, and install a good aft towing bitt . woops!..lol looks like they thought of that...

@nickman478 use google or yahoo and try typing berkeley engineering candu tug, itll pull up np. other boats they build are the aqua casa series.
