When I was in 3rd grade, I'd hear this song on the radio the bus driver played on the way home from school, and had no idea the song was by a group of guys from my hometown lol ... clueless damned kid...
All those bands that made it in the 80's owe alot to Cheap Trick. Motley Crue, Ratt, Cinderella, Poison, Loudness! They were influenced by this band! How can you not.
@johnny888869 Wow I thought I was the only person who thought this was UFO. My sister and I had a bet going whether it was KISS or UFO and nobody won that 30 year bet, :(
We'll this will be the next hit Justin Biber might try to record? I personally wonder if Justin Biber has an appreciation for "Classic Rock"? This good stuff was out before there was probably even a thought of his mother being born in the world. Heck maybe Lady Gaga will help him do this song......LOL

I love that Gene Simmons did the backing vocals on this....perfect voice for the "Gonna Raise Hell" lines!!! Must have done it after KISS had them opening for them.
@guitarsforeveryone No wonder there's this extra... watchamacalit, growl, to those lines. It's something my subconscious mind was telling me... wouldn't have thought of it if you hadn't said that. But now it makes perfect sense that that is Gene Simmons. It was strange thinking Zander sounded like that.
@ShelterDogs Yeah, he adds that extra something to it. I wonder if he played bass on it too (or added some suggestions for the opening bass lines as it definitely has that early KISS vibe to it).
@lost2fairyfate That's what I was doing and it reminded me of this song, too! Bizzare. (Freaks and Geeks is arguably the best show ever created.) And this song is so epic. Love it. (even though I technically wasn't alive when it was released.....I was there in spirit. Fo sho. :3)
@lost2fairyfate Now that Halloween is near, I say you dress up like one of the boys...you get to choose between Neil's Chaplin, Sam's robot or Bill's Bionic Woman. If you're a guy, I say go as Bill's. If you're a girl, go as Chaplin. :)-
@lost2fairyfate That's exactly how I discovered the song! So strange to see your comment at the very top in a permanent position... that show is old and not even on anymore! What are the chances. Another strange coincidence happend today related to this show. I was looking up actor James Franco on Wiki after reading a short story of him on USAToday.. and it mentioned he was a main cast member in Freaks and Geeks. I was like WTF? Really? Funny how stuff happens like that.
... somebody mentioned 8 Track players on my FB, and I had to come and find this.
I was 17, just joined the Army, & had an 8 Track 'ghetto blaster' thingy... I think I actually broke this tape, AND the player on this shit!!!
Nice. =)
