I suppose that is a valid point. I kind of realized that dance is just moving and having a good time. but when u are to become a highly trained professional its important you are properly trained. But you did bring up a valid point.

Whhyyyyyy??? We need to seriously start filtering who can and can't teach. Teachers need to be certified. Cuz this is NOT GOOD and I bet those poor kids won their little gold and silver medals. Then if by any chance they go into the REAL WORLD of dance their hearts will be crushed due to their lack of technique. So sorry.

Body Moves does a phenomenal job in shaping & honing the skills of its dance students. I am not saying this because my daughter is one of the 2 main dancers you see in the video (so what if I'm a little biased) but the school maintains a strict disciplined, yet family-friendly atmosphere. If interested and live in Maryland, you should definitely check them out. You wouldn't be disappointed.

if ur a professional contemporary dancer then u should appreciate the way the body moves no matter what.and it looks like "a little school kids dance"? well they are kids,and thier still learning. contemporary dance is more of philosophy not a profession. (maybe its different in the states but in europe thats wat its seen as)

can you see great ballet masters coming on here and saying "omg look! they didn't point their feet! how stupid!" no... they would be encouraging young people to keep dancing and growing.

I agree with the modern ballet comment, I almost wished that they had gotten a little more modern with the costumes and hair , and worked on tecnique a little more with specific girls. Not everyone was on count either, although all these girls did have very nice extensions.

these girls are awesome for their age, but I would not classify this as a contemporary dance. Just because it is made now it doesn't mean it is "contemporary". I'd say what I see here is something more like a "modern ballet". Again good dancing.

I agree... I dance professionaly, I teach at a dance school, and I'm a dance and theatre major and I'm not very skinny at all. Just because you are big boned, or happen to have boobs doesn't mean you should be kept from what you love and can do the best.
