  • Excuse me creationists, Ida was presented at the American Museum of Natural History in N.Y.C. They do not fuck around like some "Dr. Dino" running a fantasy theme park. If it was a five year old lemur, I think their paleontologists, zoologists and biologists might have picked up on that. Science is more rigorous than you jeering kindergarteners know. Instead of ending your at-a-glance analysis at the lemur-like tail, focus on the skull and then call it a lemur. Or is that too in-depth?

  • Great video!

  • yes i didnt think u were capable of running an argument.

but u can swear and berate people.

these are important qualities for atheists to have.

it fills in the blanks when u have nothing intelligent to say.

and gee u guys swear alot so i gather that has implications.

Intolerance of people who dont agree with you is a common trait.

u need to evolve into a higher being with some manners. u still resemble your relative the great dumb ape too much.

  • @arsjth Funny, we could say that about creationists as well. If you are looking for an intelligent conversation, then you can have one. However, idiocies can possibly be met with laughter and sarcasm. The internet, be thankful you got one as polite as bluewhiskey.

  • @arsjth LIKE LIKE

  • Respond to this video...

  • Your thought experiment is a fabulous example of fantasy.

lets imagine that there is a one-eyed animal eating monster on that island that gains 20deg in temperature too.

I dont think they would look the same...i think they would all be dead. they would then form part of the fossil record 4u2 find in a 1000 yrs &claim they evolved in2 a completely diff animal.

However if we play your 'game' then they would be easily recognizable as the original animal with minor differences, like Ida.

    regards

  • pure speculation.

highly unlikely that a lemur gives birth to a baby without opposable thumbs. it would be a mutant not unlike a baby without hands. A switching off of the gene to create hands & likely to be restored with the next generation. But lets say u r right 100%. She is still a lemur.

Ida was the issue....she is a lemur not an ancestor of the human race & not the missing link.

interestg that 47 million yrs hasnt changed her much. strong evidence that evolution doesnt change alot.

  • Now to address the issues raised.

    "mutations are rare" der!

"but a lemur w opposable thumbs is better.. etc u get it?"

Did u break that news to th Indri lemur? It wil b offended that u think its not beta. What do u mean by etc? is that a major part of your point?

"ya i think the entire scientific community is a conspiring bunch of robots and everything they conclude is a scam and arsjth the loser is right."

No.sometimes i am wrong.same as wen th prevailing scientific view had th world as flat.

  • mutations are rare u stupid asshole,

hows suck my smarter & better evolved dick

    motherfucker

    should go kill urself

so ur one of those stupid assholes

    'religiously' asshole

i dont know where i got the impression that atheists were abusive and angry?

u sound like a really nice guy who is well educated & has no trouble explaining himself.

when an argument is weak then u abuse the man. Ad hominem arguments.

  • OOPS the Darwin thought police have arrived w their angry abuse&violence.

its not an exciting discovery of anything other than an old lemur. IF lemurs have varied little in 47 million years what on earth makes u think that a human can b spun off from the apes in a few million years, whilst remaining unchanged themselves.

dont tell me...evolution is 1 of those magical scientific theories that is proved correct by change &correct by stasis!!

    i believe in evolution...things change.

    That is a fact.

  • Fantastic video.i love the quality of the fossils.we have fossils millions of yrs old &easily recognizable because the species mostly exist today.some went extinct.we dont see changes in the lemur, crocodile, bird, anteater (who knows how that one evolved there on its own),bats, snakes, lizards etc.Why is that?

However they would have u believe that at some point whilst all these creatures stayed the same,Ida spun off an ancestor who started the massive genetic changes required2become humans? WHY?

  • Because when an organism is supreme in its environment, there are fewer natural selection pressures to force it to change.

Also, not one of the things you mentioned are deviod of changes.

Ida isn't a lemur. Also, we see the evolution of birds, crocks, bats, snakes, and lizards.

And next time name a species instead of a genus or higher. Each of those last 5 are equivalent to asking "Why don't we see mammals evolve?"

I'm sorry to burst your rhetorical bubble, but we DO see them change.

  • "Because when an organism is supreme in its environment, there are fewer natural selection pressures to force it to change."

So all those creatures mentioned are/were supreme in their environment?

Then the lemur would have less reason to spin off a mutation that became mankind.

    Ida is a lemur.

u evolutionists are funny. u know for a fact that something completely different became something else but u cant see that a lemur is a lemur. Y? because u want it to be something else. its quite funny

  • Except for the fact that Ida is not a lemur. AronRa made an excellent series of videos on it. Watch them before you try to be cheeky and rhetorical.

  • Calling Ida a lemur is like calling Archeopteryx a bird.

Birds don't have teeth, or bony tail bones.

You sound like you just came fresh from a GEERUP video.

  • alan feduccia thinks its a bird and he is a leading evolutionary ornitholigist.... and ida is clearly a lemur. the lack of one modern day lemur feature is not evidence that its not a lemur.

  • Alan feduccia is in a tiny minority of a position, and I've never seen him cite reasons why archaeoteryx is just a bird and not a transitional, particularly when it possesses dozens of characteristics that are bird and reptile. He can talk all he wants about terodactile hands, archeopteryx is a bird with teeth, and a lizard with feathers. I know of no bird ever that has had a bony tail. .

Btw, Ida lacks more than 5 characteristics of lemurs. YES that means she's not a lemur.

  • hahahahaha.

5 characteristics make it not a lemur???

but in the case of Indohyus Thewissen claims a wolf like creature is a whale based on 1 similarity being its hearing system. roflmao.

5 characteristics make it not a lemur when u dont want it to be a lemur but 1 characteristic makes it a whale when u want it to be a whale.

Evolution is the perfect theory....its everything u want it to be whenever you want it to be.

What is important is that you believe what you are saying!

  • No, he connected it with that one clue and built on it from there. So far, 13 transitional speciated fossils have been found proving that it was a land dwelling animal that returned to the sea.

  • I see variation within the species but u see everything as having to be transitional becos u have accepted the dogma of evolution.

Can u tell me why gould & eldredge have stated that stasis is the overwhelming state of the fossil record & what that means? y did they come up with punctuated equilibrium as opposed to darwins gradualism?

    13 transitional fossils ..proving...???

sorry mate, 13 speculations based on a theory w no proven connection. If u accept common ancestry ofc u assume connection.

  • You wrote: "u see everything as having to be transitional"

Gould and Eldridge's paper was not new information. People who understand evolution already knew there were species in status for long periods of time virtually unchanged and that it doesn't always have to be a steady state of change.

I thought that was common sense for laymen.

To give all the credit to Gould and Eldredge as though they are the first to discover this is silly. It's been understood for over 100 years.

  • agreed. what has been understood for hundreds of years is that there is minimal observable change in species in the fossil record and that there is little to no observable change of one species to another with the naked eye.

hence the concept that all species we see today came from one single common ancestor is highly dubious. alternate explanations need to be investigated. The concept has no evidence only theory supported by much opinion.

  • Where did you get information that there is no observable evidence with the naked eye? We have powerful microscopes for the evolution of baceteria and viruses and we have fruit fly research showing evolution before the naked eye as one example and species of butterfly before the naked eye in the natural world as just a few observations. We also use fossils, identify taxa and phyla with dating the time when it existed with several methods to find the missing puzzle to the origins of species.

  • Also morphology in species that look almost alike means that two different species from two different lineages exploited the same behaviors and adapted as such. Living examples of this, we see every day. Experts have figured out how not to make that mistake and confuse one species with another when fossils are observed and studied. I'm done with you now, reading your comments shows me that you have no basic understanding of evolution.

  • I mean stasis.

  • Furthermore, citing alan feduccia is a complete argument from authority. He's not a "leading" anything. The only reason you cited him is because he supports your position slightly in this particular case, and he's "Leading" because you've heard of him. He disagrees with the mechanisms behind some instances of evolution, but not the theory itself.

  • i never used dr feduccia2support creation or ID.i neva used him2dispute evolutn. just ur comment that it cant b calld a bird& that ida isnt a lemur.

Dr feduccia is an independent thinker2a degree & wont b pressured by those who wish 2 propose evolution as an answer to everything.

Look closely at IDA and tell me its not a Lemur. to do so requires religious type commitment to a belief.Ida has been around a long time & was promoted after purchase in movie premier style to increase its retail value.

  • You did indeed use fedducia to support ID because you implied that he did not consider Archeopteryx to be a legitimate transitional.

Archeopteryx is not a "Bird" and fedducia doesn't regard it as JUST a bird either. His contention is with timelines.

I'm sending you an interview with him. In the very last question he says "Its half bird half dinosaur any way you cut it".

His contention is that he thinks its an evolutionary dead end, and went extinct, which is his own idea.

  • no weedpower i did not use feduccia to support ID and u need to put up or shut up.

i am sick of u evolutionists twisting what is said to suit ur own prejudices.

i repeat for the thick heads i stated that feduccia considers archaeopetryx a bird and that is the end of the story. anything else u say from there is a lie.

he believes birds evolved from a different dinosaur &he is controversial for his beliefs.

evolutionists consider everything transitional even U so that is pointless as an argument

  • Oh my, look at this, I caught you in a quote mine:

here's a quote from Alan feduccia that destroys your argument:

..The creature thus memorialized was Archaeopteryx lithographica, and, though indisputably birdlike, it could with equal truth be called reptilian.... The Archaeopteryx fossil is, in fact, the most superb example of a specimen perfectly intermediate between two higher groups of living organisms--what has come to be called a "missing link," a Rosetta stone of evolution....

  • sounds like you are quote mining. Dr Feduccia does not think that Archaeopetryx is transitional between birds and dinosaurs...he believes they came from another dinosaur.

your comment that you cant call it a bird is WRONG as feduccia himself does. DOnt change the topic by using backhanded putdowns. Archaeopetryx is a bird and Ida is a lemur. U know its a lemur when u can count on 1 hand the differences btw modern lemurs & Ida who is 47 mill yrs old.

  • If we had Ida's DNA we couldn't count on football stadium's hands how many differences there are.

Truvelocity said everything else that needed to be said about Ida, so you can contend with him.

  • Ah, so now it becomes clear. You guys have been quote mining Feduccia all this time...

Now I realize that the perching bird comment never explicitly says it's not transitional.

    You cheeky bastards... : )

  • to an evolutionist everything is transitional. transitional has lost its meaning as far as its original intent.

Transitional is meant to mean the gradual transitions from 1 species2 another that should b prevalent&self evident in the fossil record but are not.

There4 evolutionists have changed its meaning to imply that everything is transitional.that way u can neva b calld on th phony evidence. Just look at anything&u can call it transitional.y is stasis th dominant feature of th fossil record?

  • It is a clearly a different taxonomy from a modern day lemur as it does not have the grooming claw and resembles that of primate hands and feet. It does not have the comb teeth on the bottom of the jaw, it has teeth that more resemble the prototype of modern dentia in primates. It is speculated that it is an ancestor for a branch in the evolutionary tree for primates.

  • U clearly cant c where ur logic fails.U draw tenuous links2try&prove that1species evolved frm th other&then pick out minute differences2prove y a creature that looks like a lemur isnt a lemur but really th ancestor of man.

u say Archaeopetryx is not a bird becos of minute differences. yet what is a bird? A bird is what scientists have decided2 categorize birds as....is this the complete, perfect grouping of animals? unlikely...is it poss that there r variations not accounted4 yet?

  • Q A bird is what scientists have decided2 categorize birds as.Q

No, its what millions of people agree a bird is. If you're going to sit there and play the conspiracy card, you'll need to explain how millions of people arrive at an independent conclusion.

Its like the difference between a Salamander, a Tegu, and a Tuatara.

They all look the same, but one is an amphibian, one is a Lizard, and one is a Sphenodon.

Why is it so hard to accept that people who do this every day know what theyre doing?

  • conspiracy card? are u for real? u imagine stuff.

a bird is a made up classification, if it has teeth is it any less a bird? just becos the birds u know of dont have them!

amphibian and sphenodon are made up classifications again. it doesnt exist except as a concept. we hav all agreed2these things but they r not complete and perfect.

your way off on a tangent with the conspiracy comments.

I think if u show Ida to millions of people & ask if its a lemur they wil say yes.u wil need2explain this.

  • You took the "Perching bird" quote completely out of context of what he said and twisted it to mean that he thought it was JUST a bird, and I took a direct quote that is CLEARLY unambiguous. You found me a quote wherein you implied that Feduccia disagrees with evolution, when he only disagrees with certain aspects of the mechanism, I found a quote in which he described archeopteryx as direct transitional.

  • I mentioned a lake called Mackenzie. I made a mistake on that one since it's in Australia and not a melting ice scraped lake. The Mackenzie River, which drains one of these magnificent receding glacier type lakes, Great Slave lake is in Canada and I mixed them up. Great Bear Lake is another of these .

  • I teach bio and Anatomy. If you have specific questions, just google it or wicki. Just make sure your sources are reputable(ie. not religious).

If you are interested in bio, I would suggest just picking up any high school bio textbook written in the last few yrs(for updated info) and flip through the pages.

  • It melted and went back to the sea, hence the rise and fall of the ocean levels. Many nice lakes left behind though, like the Great lakes, Lake Athabasca, Mackenzie, and many more, mostly in Canada, Northern USA, Russia. That's where the land ice was located.

  • Nope

  • "because religion and science are two different things"

Sure, I agree with that statement. Religion is the exact opposite of science. Religion is untrue, science is truth.

I went to Christian schools until Uni. They taught me how ridiculous religiousness really is. As to lessons in common sense, they are common and found everywhere you go. I like evidence, and so do you(court, juris prudence, guilt based on the evidence as opposed to gossip or hearsay). The hopey thing is going very well, :)

  • the problem you have with that statement is that famous evolutionists like kenneth miller and dr francis collins are also christians.

they believe in God and they find their belief in evolution does not contradict or disprove God.

So u r using science to say something that it doesnt say. u have drawn a conclusion that th brilliant men of the field do not.

    regards

  • arsjth

You pulled two scientists out of hundreds of thousands to prove your point? Little weak.

Newsweek poll in 97 found that 700 out of 450,000 scientists in the USA do not believe in this god fellow. That's .14% !!

Science is the pursuit of truth. It removes bias, opinion and guessing from the process of truth seeking. The two scientists probably keep their faith out of family concerns and not upsetting their friends. Just a guess but they are in the EXTREME minority within science.

  • quote from dr francis collins.

So, some have asked, doesn't your brain explode? Can you both pursue an understanding of how life works using the tools of genetics and molecular biology, and worship a creator God? Aren't evolution and faith in God incompatible? Can a scientist believe in miracles like the resurrection?

"Actually, I find no conflict here, and neither apparently do the 40 percent of working scientists who claim to be believers."

    40% is a little different to 14%

  • arsjth

The % I quoted was .14% not 14%. Also, read the Collins quote again. He says 40% of scientists who BELIEVE. If you apply that to the 700, that would work out to about 280 out of over 400,000 scientists find no conflict.

I will stand with the 399,720 who have figured out the lie that so many undeducated cling to. Yes, low education level and religiosity are linked. Polls have shown that as well. Best way to leave the woo behind is to get more education.

  • yeah dr francis collins is uneducated.

do u realize how silly that sounds?

  • Where did I say he was uneducated? The silly looking one is Dr. Collins and his religious stance.

  • Great Video. Thanks!

  • Great Video. Thanks!

  • At its worst a babbeling of book quotes and psychotic delusions.

    evolution is equally mundane

  • pondering over the existence of god is a conceited exercise at its best.

  • Its irrelevant whether god exists or not unless you want to beat eachother up over it.However evolution disproves nothing if you like.Theres no reason why god didnt create a blue print for creation which unfolded in the form of evolution.

  • lucky

There's no reason why I can't say the FSM created the blue print either. Do I have evidence for this? Sure, it's written in the Gospel of the FSM. Sound ridiculous to you? That's how your post sounds to me. Neither one of us can disprove our writings, just like saying there exists Purple Pungent People Pulverizers living on the planet Zevulon. These are rectally extracted assertions with no backing whatsoever. If you believe this diatribe, you are delusional.

  • I bet most of you have never read the book of genesis, the order of creation is spot on, science agree 100%. Its up to you people to deal with it. Regards to evolution, we I can see that this can be true, from a certain point of view i.e. species evolving because of their enviornment.

  • what do you mean by order?

the world had been before animals and animals before man, even a 5-year old can figure that out.

science does not agree with creation, thats the whole point of the discussion.

    ???

  • if the bible is so "spot on" then why can't human remains be found with dinosaurs?

  • Godand Jesus4U

Sure, Genesis is spot on. Care to explain away these inconsistencies? Cain, Abel and Enoch's wives? Where did they come from? Incestuous start to Mankind X2? Snakes with vocal chords, global floods, Noah's ark, Jonas living in a 'big fish', and thousand of other ridiculous items.

Please provide one reputable scientist or reference in a science text that mentions your holy book's "order of creation". As a science teacher, I don't remember a single bible question on my board exam.

  • Sorry? ,.I think pondering the existence of god is useless and mundane!!

Evolution is amazingly interesting and probably true.

I agree the bible is a book of fairy tales !!!

evolution is a bit mundane if seen as just a quest to find the origin of man.But its religion which has stunted its purpose perhaps. u misread me : (

  • sometimes youtube fucks up my text so i have to send two short ones instead of one full one .Then sometimes they read as jumbled.

  • "Evolution is amazingly interesting and probably true"

It's true. If you have any evidence to refute this theory, please send it on to the Nobel committee. They have a wonderful prize waiting for you.

"Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."-A. Huxley

  • True. There is alot of very important people in the Nobel comittee.I was impressed by their sucess producing a new species using natural selection.

Also Obama has praised Darwin in his speeches many times which I find comforting.Science is so removed from politics being born out of compassion and a need for truth and change.

  • "evolution is equally mundane"

If you speak of the Theory of Evolution, it isn't mundane, it is fact. That is the statement I was attacking.

  • Well im an agnostic atheist, im never gonna use the words GOD and DEVIL no more, Im gonna use Geography and Science instead.period

  • like that episode of south park..XD...

    SCIENCE DAMN IT MAN! XDDD

  • ok tell me how oil and coal is made????

  • You don't really want that,do you? It takes more than one paragraph. You can see the process in work on the west coast of Ireland if you like.

  • AT work I mean.

  • and dont forget that american preacher wouldnt be there if us english colonized u

  • carbon 14 u can trace to millions of years its called dna

  • ok well my link was not allowed watch the riddicule of cathy 356's site what a load of bull

even tho have to give them they stong in passion but its all lies

  • and this is my view i think science has more belief from me than religion

  • how big was noahs ark ?????? which never exsisted!!!! must have been about a 18th of the world capacity to them to survive.

  • the bible is actually 0% explained no one can explain how the bible got here.

  • ok i seen your god bod channel well its shit, religion is bolloxs hahahahahahahaha its a done deal what shash fossils are something religion hates u are sad cos u cannot accept the fact that we were created!!!!! acurate statemant that was actually almost 95% correct.

  • and Cathy what video were u watching, wheres the video that proves this is a hoax u find it i'll watch it.

  • First, listen to this video and tell me what scientific proven facts they use to persuade you to come to your conclusion. Aye?

  • well tell me the hoax???? god is a little man in the sky who is invisable, he is a manufactured belief.

  • and what scientific fact ????? well there is loads considering most artifacts are over 10 million years old, now i guess u gonna say , demons put them there,

why cant u people take into account, geography and science proves the bible wrong.

  • Cause it's not true, "newagemetal", science agrees with the Bible. Every discription, some with minute detail. Here is a verse about you, but speaking to me. I Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.." Sounds like you, you certainly are roaring. And why does someones belief bother you so much? Are you feeling conviction? You don't sound very happy with your belief. You sound like you've been let down.

  • And if the devil did put them there, then he should be before god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow Religion is so stupid. The world being 4400 years old Bulls**t, does that mean the UNIVERSE is 4400 years old, Evidence of Noahs ark also bull, Civilisations have been using boats for 10's of thousands years!!!!!!!. Im glad to say im a Agnostic atheist

  • They have already proved this a hoax. It is nothing but a lemur. Surprise! And with 99species of lemurs alive today, it's no wonder. And with millions of individual lemurs having lived & died over the last 500 years alone, why does finding a lemur prove it's our relative? You see, darwinists ASSumed that we were from tarsiers(tarsiers?)or lemurs, so whenever they find a dead one, its proof. Sorry, science says otherwise. Lemurs came from lemurs! Awh, wow! how unbelievable is that science?

  • Listen Cathy. You are the follower of fairy-tails and non evidence religious fantasies. You don't know a thing about science other than what you read from creation science web sites and or videos. You are deluded and frankly I don't give a crap. If you choose to live your life in such a stupid idiot World so be it. Do not think for one minute that you ramblings mean anything to anyone other than ignorant self deluded like minded morons. Now away with you...

  • It's religion that's killing Earth. Almost all wars are forced in by religious beliefs although almost all religions apparently promote peace.

  • I can explain how it got there! Also, how amazing all this evidence of God's judgement, the world wide flood! He warned them for 120 yrs! And that wasn't a horse, was it? Most animals & insects havent changed much. A few went extinct during or shortly after the flood. All was warm and tropical, (pre-flood).Caves were full of water once. The flood caused the seasons to change and the polars.Just think, the ocean is most of the flood receding & any mountain/range, you can see that evidence.Glory!

  • You are a retard. Why don't you do us all a favor and get an education instead of preaching that bronze age brainwashed hell and fire stupidity.

  • Repeated tired out dogma, you never know evidence. You follow like a sheep.

  • Stop this bloody god shit please. Can't hear and see it anymore. Its boring, mind-stopping and deluded. If your brain capacity is used up by gods and stuff, why bother watching scientific vids? There is enough channels talking about gods and similar crap. Go there pls.

  • The religious are such a source of amusement. Evolution is continuing as it always has. Polytheists have evolved into monotheists.Surely, one of the next steps in evolution is more clearly demonstrated in the development and further acceptance of consciousness and the awareness that "God" is just a human invention. Eventually, the religious extremists will cull the herd of themselves.

  • denial, denial.... believers are into denial big time. this new fossil is a very big scientific find that looks to be the missing link that all of the theists are always wining about that hasn't been found.... now that we have found it they'll wine and say it isn't evidence. To believers I say, "suck it up".

  • Stay in your little cages you wild religious nuts. Religion can only bring wars, conflicts, dellusions, and false promises. Science can improve life, bring sanitation, improve our knowledge, give us new technology, etc. Why believe in faith when you can believe in science?

  • G & J, You don't need to believe in science for it to be true.

    Do you "believe" in Gravity?

Do you "believe" in Electricity? Radio Waves?

How about the Internal Combustion Engine? How do you get to church on Sunday?

All these things have been proven by science.

The bible does not contain facts, just Dogma & funny stories.

Where do you get 4000 years old from, he asks, waiting for the punch-line. LOL

  • It is fact that this little creature died during the flood which was around 4000 yrs ago. Lets not forget we have found fish on the highest of mountains, proving the flood story.

I do believe in the above, just do not believe in half dog half cat, there is no evidence.

If you look at the book of genesis, the creation is perfect and scientists have confirmed, that is why the earth is a perfect design.

  • That WAS the Punch-Line I expected! This creature is a bit more than 4000 years old - about 47,000,000. Trick question: How long does it take the Oil Shale the little creature was encased in to develope? Dogma is not science, & people make themselves look stupid quoting Dogma to "Prove" ridiculous creationist & bible literalist rationalizations. Fish on mountainstops? - Have ya ever heard of "Plate Tectonics"? Why don't you look up some of these facts & Theories? Dogma is NOT "Proof".

  • I absolutely agree! Hell to the yeah!

  • lol, you gotta be joking.

  • the reason there have been fossils found on top of mountains is because of destructive techtonic plate boundries , two land masses with water in between them get pushed together and the water between them gets pushed up ,look it up,its fact lol dont be bitter your religion is dying out as people become smarter

  • There have been many great floods throughout history - many of which would have left fossils on mountains.... it doesn't prove that an imaginary man built and imaginary boat which housed two of each of the millions of species of animals on earth!

  • @GodandJesus4U

You say everything was created "perfectly" without evolving (no half dog/half cat) how do you explain hermaphrodites? And how do you explain conjoined twins (with a survival rate of between 5 and 25%) they are not created in God's perfect image, surely?

There are too many other fundamental flaws in creation to list here but I hope you can address those for a start..

    Thanks

  • @GodandJesus4U Actually fish on the top of mountains proves tectonic movement and continental drift. The earth is not close to perfect, a large part of the earth is either too hot or too cold or too wet to support most of the other organisms that live and have died on this planet. Earthquakes, hurricanes, drought and ice ages:Yup the earth is so perfect. You realize life has evolved to fit in on this planet, the planet was not created to support life and formed with out any knowledge of it's self.

  • Eh are you an idiot or what? Some of the best experts in the world have scientific proof that the fossil is about 47 million years old, yet you say it is 4000 years old because you believe in a book of fables written 2000 years ago by people who thought the earth was flat etc. Wake up you fool!

  • Ah, another nail in the coffin of the delusions inducing schizophrenia-type disorder, Christianity

God & other delusions are created by the brain. This fossil clearly proves our origins as crazy evolved apes however going back 3 billion years our ancestors were simply cyanobacteria. Bacteria which we have under control while alive, will take over when we die

Too bad Christ-psychotics stuck in the Middle Ages will never understand science, created by the mentally healthy aka atheists.

  • GodandJesus4U, same comment, but just on a different forum? You must be a rather zealous follower of your believe in a invisible little man in the sky

  • Prove it

  • Quit sucking your religious thumb and grow up! Just because your mommy and daddy believed a story book, doesn't mean you have to perpetuate their collective hallucination. Try not believing. You can't because you are trapped in a mental sink whole called faith. Faith is anti-reality, it will never accept any evidence that will undermine its certainty that is the nature of faith regardless of your gods name.

  • Checkmate atheists << HUH? Really! God is a tool of Pain & War i see! Your God theories have nothing to offer mankind but pure heartache and confusion! HA! we have the power to completely wipe mankind, and all living things from the planet! Screw u God!

  • wonderful!

  • guess we can now question religion. what a scam!

  • there are no god !there is planets stars metereos darwin!

  • prove it

  • yo mom is fake.

  • Instead of being "offended" perhaps you should question your "beliefs"

  • Just joking^^

  • Theories created by man are based on mountains of physical evidence. A scientific hypothesis does not become a theory until there is sufficient physical evidence to say that the theory is most probably the correct answer.

  • C'mon any Fossiles that is found brakes the Story of the 'holy' bible. If god made Human beeing first, where the f*ck comes the Dinosaurs or finally Ida from? Does he killed them, so the Mankind can Destroy our Planet slowly?

  • You talk about all these "theories". What about the "Laws" that prove god's existence? 2nd law of thermodynamics, Poe's Law?! Law's beat theories. Checkmate.

  • Explain how those "Laws" prove God's existence.

  • Oh shit, awesome poe law's trickery judoyodan, CHECKMATE ATHEISTS! rofl.

  • The next bit of nonsense you'll be telling me is that "electricity" is a theory.

When will you give up on "theories", and trust in the lord?

  • The "evidence" says there was a great flood that happened about 4400 years ago. They found part of Noah's ark. I saw it on tv. And as far as "germ theory", that also is just a theory. God works in misterious ways you know.

  • You heard that? He "saw it on tv." He must be right.

  • Yeah, it turns out it was a big mountain, many others were found just like it.

  • You can contact me after 727 days and I'll tell you why you are wrong.

  • "Evidence"!?

The only evidence I need is the good book, the Bible. It is the best, most complete science book ever written.

And, btw, the spherical earth is also "just a theory". Do you really think we landed on the moon??? How silly.

  • Are you using Poe's law? Please tell me you are.

  • Spherical earth just a theory... space travel silly... wow. Even I wouldn't bother arguing with you.

  • the ignorance is against you.

  • What the heck are they talking about, 47 million year old fossil? The earth is only 6000 years old. Why do all these "scientists" keep talking about periods of time when nothing existed?

People, don't let your children hear this nonsense, they will turn into devil worshippers, or worse, ATHEISTS!

  • Because you are a total delusionalyodan.

  • If you mean deluded with god's love, then you're correct. For he gave up his only son for us to be forgiven.

Ok, maybe he didn't TOTALLY give him up because he is a god and can easily resurect, but it's the thought that counts.

  • Mirene, The Coockers Tresure, page 229, line 43:

" ... and then mix the eggs with salt and place the cutted onions around the meat..."

    THE END IS NEAR FRIENDS

  • im going to buy you a beer one day.

  • thank you!

  • HAHA... the anteater is obviously explained by the flood lol duh... I just wanted to make the argument before some retarded creationist did

  • I'll set my callender.

  • I really think that Creationist mind set is a genetic defect... at least in this era.... there is no fixing it or educating it.... they are doomed to extinction

.... once they've wrecked the planet and God doesn't save them...

they will no longer exist.... the rest of us will have to live with the mess

    !

  • read about the temporal lobe. It's very interesting.

  • i remember when I was struggling with my indoctrinated "faith"... I asked my best teachers... they refused to comment.... as they should !

they presented the evidence and the counter arguements... evidence wins

  • My biology teacher in high school called fossils "Satan's statues" He absolutely refused to teach evolution, but did teach heredity (which I thought was odd).. he also said that he didn't ever tell his children about Santa because he competed with Jesus. Hooray for small Texas towns!

  • your biology teacher must have some sort of understanding about evolution in order to teach heredity. In that case, please ask him/her (if you still speak) to research what's called cognitive dissonance.

  • LOL

  • That is really disturbing.

    Was it a public school?

  • yeah, was a small town public school, roughly 200 or 300 of us in our graduating class, I think. (one high school for the entire town)

Looking back, at least he didn't actively try to disprove it all the time or anything, he just wouldn't present Evolution, and in side comments whenever anyone would ask, he made his religious views known.

  • injecting religious views in a public school "science" class is criminal... that teacher should be fired.

  • awesome

  • i hope the two guys benethe me are joking (crappy speller)

  • Silly scientists. God just put all those trick fossils there to test you. And you failed.

  • no ! satan buried them ! a jeovah witness told me

  • I used to be one of them, and I ask one of the senior members about fossils once. He said the demons put them there.

  • actually they were a pair of them going door to door, it was the first time I met people who believed in Genesis. I thought it was an extinct belief.

  • lol

  • What an amazing place. I sure would like to visit there someday.

  • So much in Germany to see. I need a vacation.

In addition to driving on the Autobahn, I'd like to see the numerous museums in Deutschland.

  • so, the scientists don't know how the anteater got there, ay? it was obviously the FSM. hail the FSM !!!

  • rAmen
