Here's a data point: I'm a silicon valley electronics design consultant, and business has definitely picked up over the last 30-60 days. Pretty interesting, actually. I've haven't been hurt personally by the downturn, but the last 18 months have been VERY dry for some others I know.
Gold options expired this week which hit gold a bit. Begining Friday, Monday at the latest gold should continue its climb. Wed/Thurs could be the dip you were waiting for on gold stocks.
There is some cautious optimism in France now, with regard to 2010. People seem to agree, their businesses have leveled off to being about 30 per cent. down -- it was 60 per cent. in the first half of this year, but for one quarter only. I think the next five months will be generally down. Beyond that, I have no darned idea. I do feel web bots were right and this past weekend was a turning point.
I think people are over looking why people are concerned. Eventually the longer this flu strain stays active... it will mutate, that is what people are afraid of, I don't care if I get it, I don't think it's that big of a deal. But the longer it remains a viable virus that could potentially pick up the missing protein it needs to become as bad as the 1916 the more dangerous things become.
The other thing is the government "does no want any EMERGENCY to go to waste" How convienent for them.
the market reminds me of starting a car. Sometimes they kick over good for a moment then stall out cold. pumping the gass pedal might get it running again or it might flood the engine and keep it from running for a much longer time.
damn, that is an excellent observation there......should watch from that POV some more
cause going back 2 years about x-mas time, the dollar was at just about it's lowest point and if the x-mas sales were hurting in the US then year later (2008) those banking assholes knew that they couldnt allow for that again (hence the bullshit dollar ralley)....now 2009 here we go again .....
115 people per day die in automobile accidents per day in the US....no national emergency....what are they putting federal and state assets in place for...thats the real question
My politics may be showing, but I feel that Barry Obama's declaration of a National Emergency based on the H1N1 is a pretense to open the door for something else. The aspirations of the far left will not be achieved so long as the rights and liberties of US citizens are untrammeled. If those rights are suspended for "emergency reasons," we may see the real face of US politics emerge. ='[.]'=
New video will be posted within 24 hours.
Cheers

silver right now at 16 dlls. It is very tempting to buy now, but Im not sure if I should wait since mss has said that metals could go lower.

Interesting. According to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald, Federal tax take hasn't been this bad since the great depression.

have you bought more silver??? Or are you still waiting for a bigger pull back?
formulaprimer 2 years ago
if you saw our last vid we forecast there could be a dip coming in metals.
Since then gold is down $20 - $30 and looking weaker.
We feel a bit bigger pullback coming, So i will sit holding my reigns and wait for now.
No Guarantees, but looks likely.

Bird flu 70% kill rate.
H1N1 has Bird Flu in it.

Mutates= millions to billions can die.

Thanks for the vid Myspace. I wish you posted more often.
All this hype about H1N1 is just fear mongering. There are only 5000 deaths reported so far... WORLD WIDE.
Regular influenza virus kills 15-20K people per year.

Seasonal flu kills around 36k people per year. Definitely fear mongering.

i've heard from fairly reliable sources, 'they' are not doing the expensive test to prove any
flu diagnosis as swine flu. man made hype.

Under the PDD51 law signed by Bush on 5/9/07, the president has Marshall Law powers once he declares a National Emergency.

Well, I've been in the choir for some time now,
and am just waiting, watching and continuing
to prepare for short and long-term emergencies.
Hope you all are as well,
