  • I've been a personal trainer for about 12 years now so I'll shed some light on the topic. People really seem to over-complicate things!

    HOW TO LOSE FAT

    1) Avoid high GI foods (they trigger fat storage)

    2) Eat frequent, nutrient dense meals (every 3 hours) - include a protein source with each meal

    3) Follow the nutrition plan from the "Fat Loss Customized" program (I can't provide a meal plan here)

    4) Perform interval training to boost your metabolism.

  • no such thing as spot fat removal. Its not going to make your legs thinner or stomach flatter, it's going to make you stronger and more musclicious.

  • i dont know how people want a lot to have 6 packs come on it's easy(and u have to do different exercises for all muscles not only for abs), just burn fat ( in man case cuz its located most of it there) and eat well( like meat,eggs,salad,fruit...) and do a little bit of exercise during the week and u will get abs fast.

  • I am like 5'5" and I'm a 14 year old girl. I weigh 122 pounds and I have a pretty flat stomach but u like can't see abs. I wanna show my abs more. Also my inner thighs are bigger. I'm not fat I have a normal bmi I just wanna tone my inner thighs. I do gymnastics so the tops of my thighs and calves are muscle but my inner thighs are bigger. It's nit like and extreme fat deposit but there not toned. Do I need to do cardio first to get the fat off?? Or can I just do this and it will burn fat

  • @sophiaG1996 do different forms of ab workouts every other day for about 10 mins. i do 50 reps each. the workout i do is... vertical leg crunches (with 10lbs), situps (with 10lbs), crunch elbow toward knee, double twist, leg raises, and alternate crossing of the feet. i'm naturally thin, if you have some weight on you, you need to do cardio (bike riding, running,swimming)

  • @max2icey you don't have to be skinny. depending on on how you are, start with cardio. lose some weight until you can effectively do the exercise

It's not ignorance; it's just my personal, fixed view on that matter. There are many other ways to combat depression: activities, walking, reading, going out more....and the list goes on. Eating is a choice...

  • @EvilSecondTwin Sorry i don't mean to take it in a serious path but in my personal opinion i think thats ignorance to believe that people GET fat from being lazy, greedy, and undisciplined. Eating is a way to combat depression in another persons "fixed view" i know there's other ways but most people see eating as "the easy way out".

  • @EvilSecondTwin have you ever been depressed? it doesn't sound like you have. most people suffering from depression do not even have the will to do activities, going walk, they are DEPRESSED. i was put on anti-depressants that increased my appetite like crazy. i was very thin before i got on them, 125 lbs. now i'm overweight. they are many reasons people gain weight. not just laziness.

    Yes, I HAVE been depressed before. Guess what!? I walked my ass right into the gym. BTW, I was never FAT to begin with. You control what you put in your sewer. So, if you're FAT, you have no one to blame but yourself. Be careful though, you don't want to become MORBIDLY OBESE!     Nay, I don't have anything against FAT people. If some one chooses to live LARGE, it's their choice. There are many ways to fight depression. One of them being: getting laid on a daily basis. Anyway, no pun intended to any FAT person out there who chooses to "live LARGE." BTW, how much do you weigh now (if it isn't too personal to ask)?

  • Please be careful of this exercise if you have any back issues. Not a safe move for most. Sorry. No mention of pelvis stability. Yikes! If your abs are truly engaged the lower and lift are unnecessary. Hip flexors are doing all the work.

  • You want to lose weight, invest a little for a healthier lifestyle. Exercise balls are fairly cheap at any local walmart along with any other basic exercise equipment.

  • @yellowpeep95 That is up to you to decide. Only you know how many you can handle at one session, what other exercise you do, how much you weight atm, etc, etc.

    Personally I would probably do it in intervalls, maybe 20-30 at a time and some other "moves" inbetween.

  • In responce to CheappBarbie's comment, you can use a shoe/trainer instead of a ball. You can use anything as long as your holding something between your feet as it activates your thigh muscles..
