The song Requiem for a Dream is SOOO overused.

Lord of The Rings, The actual Requiem For A Dream movie, and any recent film that abused the "epic choir" music for it's trailer.

With that said; this movie is AMAZING. Mylene Jampanoi is so gorgeous. <3

Why a great director like Pan Nalin are using other movies famous music score? That's weird... It's mostly from Phillip Glass, Kundun score... Not a good thing for a movie, copying others famous soundtrack.. Or is that only for the trailer?A bad choice anyway..

All the actors who played the members of Jalan's gang (except for Anil Yadav who plays Hak-Chi) are all native people of the Ladakh and surrounding regions of the Himalaya. You can easily tell by their Tibetan-sounding names in the opening credits.

No. The two main actors, Milind Soman and Naseeruddin Shah are Indian and the main actress, Mylène Jampanoï is half Chinese/half French. Since this is an international coproduction set in India and Japan, the rest of the cast are likely to be either South Asian or Far East Asian.

Valley of flowers does exists in uttranchal india and yes it is a a place full of mystry.

Its wonderful to see indian actors in french film even the writer is an indian.

This film is magnificent. I watched it at a film festival and watched another film straight after it, but couldn't stop thinking about Valley of Flowers. I love how it's so open to personal interpretation. Just beautiful!

It is most amazing film... pls dont be fooled by the music created by marketing guys. In the film there is a a far better score by French Composer Cyril Morin who also composed SAMSARA. This film is just stunning and original. Must for all Manga and Anime fans.
