This was definitely a brilliantly made video. Escaflowne is my all time favourite anime! It holds a special place in my heart. Definitely loved this video!

To earlier posts about the ending, I'm sure we've all thought "Why the hell did it end that like that?" and imagined an alternative. But in all honesty, do you think it would've had the same impact on you if it had ended differently? Endings like this stick with me more and I appreciate the story more because things in life aren't perfect.

Well, personally I loved the anime, comic, and the movie. The series is better than the movie though, in my opinion. But the movie is still really good.

The anime is great. I personally watched it 3 times through on tv (as sad as that sounds) and now have it on DVD. Most fans wish the ending was different, but then the ending has just spawned a huge number of post-series fanfics on fanfiction(dot)net. hehe, a definite worth watching anime
